Just too frustrating. I lose most of my fights when I am finally able to 1v1 somebody. I always end up missing the last shot because of not getting used to the aiming of this game. I admit, some times it’s because I choke on shots but most of the time it feels like they are always 1 shot ahead of me and idk the aiming is just not right in this game.
But I’ve already discussed why I dislike the aim in another thread I made so I don’t want to talk about it here. FFA. So, way too frustrating. Especially in the higher division games. My aim is -Yoink-, kills getting stolen, motion tracker being completely useless most of the time, and don’t get me started with how bad the spawns are. After respawning, I will literally take like 10 paces away from my initial spawn and all of a sudden someone will spawn in on my exact position I last spawn and completely wreck me from behind. Also, I feel the motion tracker should be at least 25m instead of this 18m nonsense. 18m gives you so little information that it should might as well not be enabled in the first place.
In conclusion, FFA doesn’t feel as fun as it did in previous Halo’s. Not because of the armor abilities, the maps, the number of players, the ranks, etc. It’s because of the two biggest features I feel that really hurt this game. Aim and Motion Tracker. The scalable aiming system in previous Halos and H5 Beta worked just fine and the motion tracker has no business being in competitive playlists if it gives so little information to begin with. Either enable MT with 25m radius or remove it from competitive playlists.
