I've never heard from him since HALO 4, but if he really said that thing, it's better he doesn't come back

In my opinion, many of us are already disappointed with HALO INFINITE and 343 has not yet said anything about the controversy on social networks this weekend. Would it be a good time to bring HALO 5 to PC?

many players never play HALO 5 since we only have PC and its Multiplayer is quite good,
I think it would be very good if it became part of the master chief’s collection or came individually to the platform.

i liked halo 5 multiplayer as well, its a lot more fast paced so i can see where it deviates from the normal gameplay but i enjoyed it.
i will say the controles would not map well to pc and i think thats why they don’t add it. there is so much new abilities that are designed for quick responses on controllers but when you applie that to a keyboard it becomes very tricky
that’s not to say halo 5 shouldn’t come to pc,… say what you want about it but it is still a part of the halo story and id like to have it to run through the campaigns again.
that said they have a dumpster fire from the summer of love 2020 still burning in their office… they need to buckle down and finish what they started before going into anything else.
but what can you do if an incompetent company puts out a crap game… well you don’t want them to make something else crappy, but you also don’t want them working on the game anymore… that’s where 343 is right now in the public eye… and why Halo as a franchise is falling flat… the support from the public is there, we want a good halo game. but we have lost faith in the current developers.

You can play Halo 5 on PC through Halo 5 Forge.
It’s a better experience than Halo 5 because the p2w game mode and campaign are not included.

Lucky.

Edit: What does this title have to do with the post?

I think I may be one of the only few that doesn’t want Halo 5 to come to MCC.

You’re in the vast majority.

Halo still had mass appeal when H5G hit the scene, “many players” have played H5G whether they owned a PC or Xbox, and “many players” left because of its rather high skill floor inaccessible multiplayer. PC was still climbing in reach and relevance in 2015, but Xbox and PlayStation still had a firm grasp on the gaming scene, if you wanted to play H5G, you were going to find a way to play H5G

I will say the game feels better as a PC title than an Xbox title from what I’ve played on H5F, but anecdotally I don’t think I’d gravitate to that game if it got ported. The marketing juxtaposed with the final experience just didn’t do it for me.

It would have to come individually, the space requirements would nearly double the install base of MCC as well as become redundant on Xbox where it’s still fully playable.

343 doesn’t need to waste their time porting Halo 5 to PC. Halo 5 is over all one of the worst games ever made and definitely the worst Halo ever made. It’s just all around trash.

My vote is on halo 4 as the worst, but watch 343 bring h5 to mcc, and read here as folks flip out they cant bring their stats and reqs over

Oh wow, thank the Forerunners

I’ve always been a PC gamer, so I’d like to check it out for myself to see how bad it is, plus I’ve seen good Multiplayer Clips.

You don’t know a singel person with a Xbone? If not, than never mind. But if you do, just try it out at their house to see and hate the campaign.
You can pretty much play MP on PC through customs in Halo 5 forge

No I don’t know anyone with XBOX and HALO 5 FORGE on PC is pretty bad, poor optimization, no players, unstable servers, technically feels like a very early beta of HALO 5 and I want to see the game for what it really is.

Plays just the same as on the Xbox. I’ve played both haven’t notice a difference.

Same issue as Halo 5 as a whole right now. Like infinite is pretty dead, and H5 has far less active players online.

Uses the same servers as Halo 5 so PC and Xbox can play customs together.

Idk how you can say that if you have not played Halo 5.

After playing Forge, don’t expect your experience to change when you play 5.

Overall it already sounds like you got the full Halo 5 experience minus the campaign.

I would love to play Halo 5 again but on MCC. They could literally do the same thing they did with the others but for the Assassinations, Visors, Emblems, and anything else put it in the battle pass or just add the Accommodations System and when you complete something you earn the stuff above.

Then as for Forge just delete the old H3, Reach, H4, and H2A and just add everything from the other’s and put them in H5 Forge. Then just add a new option to make whatever you Forge to look like the game you want it to be on. That way fans can create some amazing content for every Halo game on MCC.

infinite is far worse than 5, no coop forge or mission replay had to wait nearly a year for those, so far just very boring maps, weapons and vehicle sandbox also boring, garbage xp, challenge, and cosmetic system are all insane! how could they not have xp earn based on actual performance in matches, why were challenges the only source of xp, it’s literally forcing you to play a specific way, and cosmetics?!? they seriously thought 20$ is worth a single set of armor? earning free armor is just a chore it’s not fun at all, cant even pick my own colors. the campaign has some more major problems too

Despite Infinite missing features, content, and having desync it is at its very core fun to play when it works correctly. Nothing about Halo 5 was fun. Literally nothing. In my opinion.

True, the only complaint are about the story or lore, multiplayer was way more fun than halo 3 the only reason ppl like 3 so much was forge
