Basically I’ve bought Halo Reach a long time ago on disk and it works perfectly fine on its own/its installed and everything (i still need the disk, cause Xbox is like that) but Master Chief Collection says I need to buy it again? I feel like I’m getting ripped off because this is actually the second copy of the disk I’ve had to buy (different issue with the first copy) and I don’t wanna have to buy a third.
Help plz, any advice would be great,

are you only using the disk copy? or do you have game pass?
i had a friend today who was unable to play reach because he didnt “buy” the reach key. He has gamepass and once he went and installed the key, like 10 mb or something really small, then everything was fine. i would say that might be the problem you are having

I only have the game disk because I bought it when it launched? Don’t suppose it would have some form of a game key i could download from the old version?

if you only have the disk copy then you will need to buy the reach add on. its $9.99. multiplayer is free though, but the campaign and firefight you will need to purchase the add on
