This isn’t really an important post, but the other day I made a post stating that I was angry with the random armour unlocks through the req system since using recon ever since completing the vidmaster achievements in Halo 3, I’m still not happy with how they’ve handled the armour unlocks but last night I was over the moon when I opened a silver pack and to my joy I’ve unlocked the recon helmet, now I just need the armour… And the rarer versions, but for now I’ll settle with my common recon helmet :3

I completely agree, the whole thing is a joke, where’s my reward for completing campaign on legendary? Haven’t done it yet for Halo 5 but I’d be more inclined to do it if there was actually something to get out of it other than an achievement, like in Halo 4 I rushed to complete it on legendary just to get the mark VI armour

The achievement gets you a pretty sweet background for your home screen.

You can… But first you must complete the following…
Complete every Halo campaign on SLASO difficulty… One after another… You must also reach the highest rank in multiplayer for each game, then you need to get every single achievement, then go on to my custom forge map, complete the obstacle course without failing, then complete 10 sets of classic firefight without dying on legendary (you may have a team for this one) and finally -Yoink!- the hidden skull on the cortana level in Halo 3… Then you may haz reconz :3

Congrats man. Trust me since launch I was on the quest for the Recon helmet too. But one day on Christmas Eve I said to myself," Comeon Silver pack." Then Boom I got the Recon BDA helmet and I screamed out,’‘YES!’’ That was a happy day for me 
I just got the H2BR & the extended mag pistol last week…am I doing it wrong?
Honestly the recon armor isn’t ninja enough, I mean I’m an honorable warrior that wouldn’t be caught dead playing ninja dress up anyway, but hey what can you do when H5G’s armor is so limited? Also a lot of people need to be educated how magnetism works.
