I’ll explain. As of an hour ago, I have finished reading/watching/playing everything canonical in the Halo Universe.
The games, the TV series, the comics, the books, everything. Heck, even the ‘Data Drops’, ‘Catalog/Archives’, ‘Eleventh Hour Reports’ & summaries of Iris and ilovebees (the latter 2 admittedly a waste of time and provided very little in canonical value).
I finished Saint’s Testimony yesterday, too. That was short and sweet.
So basically now, just waiting for Halo 5: Guardians, Halo Wars 2, Halo: Escalation #22, Halo: Last Light, Halo: Shadow of Intent, Hunt The Truth S2, The Fall of Reach series, Halo: The Television Series, and I think that’s it!
And why have I told you all this? Just needed to gloat to someone! (I can hardly imagine friends and family are too interested).
Funny thing is, I did that before I even owned an Xbox. Even more amazing is that people who played Halo before I did still can’t remember that it’s a “Falcon”, not “Hornet”.
So with Halo Wars, you truly are Ready for the Sequel! Oh how that achievement taunted me so, suggesting at a sequel some thought would never come… And what a pleasant surprise when they announced it <3
I still don’t have Win10 so Xbox One edition it is ^^

Pleasant surprise is an understatement. I cried when I knew what it was!
