If you play as the Chief in Halo 4, and are supposedly alone for at least the first mission of the game. Would that mean that we would revert to playing as four Chief’s during the Campaign whilst in Co-op or is that what Spartan Ops is for?

I think we’ll either play as extra chiefs, or just your own customized Spartan IV from Infinity. Doesn’t fit the story perfect, but oh well.

Wow… didn’t think of that. I am actually interested to see what they do. Maybe they will make the first mission single player only and have it not count towards co-op achievements.

That seems like a loss of experience when playing Cooperatively. I just hope it doesn’t break those sentimental scenes with The Chief and Cortana, just having them stand there and all (That is if they use other characters.)

I would hope for your custom S-IV will be the player models form players 2-4, with player 1 being the Chief. Perhaps, later in the campaign, the other S-IV players could be acknowledged in the cutscenes.

It didn’t last long. You would walk for maybe 10 seconds, view a cutscene, next player can play. Repeat 2 more times and you’re in a fight.

And it only happened once throughout the game.

You’ll probably play as your MP character. They probably wont show up in cinematics though. 343 said campaign co-op was still in so you don’t need to worry about that.
