I've been playing Halo

I’ve been playing it and I’m on a pizza and beer break right now.
So here’s my review…
First of all it was to hard so I had to put it on easy. Go ahead and laugh at me. Second of all it is a beautiful game. Third I like to fight inside the corridors not outside. I find it very hard to see what the enemies are outside. And I don’t feel like there is any strategy to the game and from what I heard there is supposed to be strategy. I can’t drive at all! lol.
Am I not playing this game right? I try to hide behind rocks and stuff. Is there any tips you have for me because I’m basically just running out and shooting aliens. The Aliens look stupid btw. I thought I was going to get to kill the grays but what ever.
Also halo is a very eerie place how it’s night time and day time at the same time.

Halo: CE was such an amazing game at the time, and it still is. If you’re playing on easy, you won’t need any strategy lol…

You don’t like to fight outside? To me that was like the greatest thing ever. Exploring and fighting on a mysterious new world. The experience was jaw-dropping.

Anyway, keep playing and have fun.

I’m starting to like it more. The last mission I did was fun. I think it would be better if I had someone to enjoy it with. Like Golden Eye 64 I played that back when I used to have friends.

Ohhh yeahh Goldeneye, some buddies, and a Gameshark. That’s all I needed haha. Halo is definitely more fun with friends. Especially if you decide to play online.

King you don’t need gameshark for golden eye. All the codes are built in.
but yeah I agree but I don’t have no friends.

Coming from Goldeneye, it will certainly take some time to get used to the new controller and game controls, but stick with it!

You have no idea what surprises lie ahead!!!
What level are you on?

Aim for the head, try to strafe sideways to doge some of the plasma bolts.

I spend most of my time playing Samurai worriers on the Ps2. The closest thing to halo I’ve played trough was Metroid and Golden Eye and golden eye was play half my life ago.
I just really need some strategy, it’s hard for me to zoom and all that. And I need to use regular guns better instead of the alien guns.
I’m still a little disappointed in how the aliens look esp. since they spent so much time making the rest of the game look so great. They should have made them Reptoids and grays but what ever.

I would really recommend having a buddy to play campaign with.

It makes the game infinitely easier and much more fun!

Play on Heroic.

You will soon be addicted to all things Halo.

I wish I had friends but I don’t…
Pizza -Check
Beer -Check
Halo -Check
Time to play!

You won’t be finding your self being strategic on easy. “Laugh as helpless victims flee in terror from their inevitable slaughter. The game basically plays itself.”-Easy difficulty description.

True. You should really stick it up to Normal. Not only will it give you a much better appreciation of the higher difficulties, (because you will play them, even if you don’t think you will right now) but the damage you take is similar to what you would take in a standard multiplayer game. Preparing you for the battles ahead.

Playing on harder difficulties also prolongs the game, forcing you take every encounter seriously, and encourage you to find the most efficient ways of completing missions.

This game makes me sleepy. So maybe I should start this game all over again on Normal. So what kind of strategies can I use? I have been using melee attacks.
There just isn’t any excitement to this game even tough I think it’s very cool. But if it’s to hard I’ll only get frustrated.
BTW I went to the store and got Ninja Giaden, Halo 2 and Time Splitters. I think that might have been a bad idea because I bought Halo 2 used. It’s looks -Yoink-. Who knows what happened to it. People stepping on it with there ugly feet and there pets peeing on it. WTF! I hate buying used stuff.

Be sure to sidestep and doge enemy fire while returning fire yourself. The pistol is very powerful–use it! Also, be sure to take cover when your shields are depleted, and don’t be afraid to use those grenades!

I keep forgetting to use the grenades honestly, lol. How do you make them be attached to the enemy so that they can’t walk away from them?

Sticky grenades only stick to the enemy (and vehicles). Normal Frags just roll and bounce.

ahh I see now. Thanks

It’s getting better! I got this scorpion tank thing. This game is getting fun.

Just saying, can you not put your whole post in bold? It is annoying and hard to quote you.

Is there any tips or secrets in Halo that someone can tell me?
