So I believe I was unfairly banned from Halo 4 chat for 1 week. I am not the kind of person to trash talk much at all. Only with my friends and they dish it back as well.
Also, I don’t talk to people in the lobby of match-made games as often because I find talking in XBL’s party chat more fun as I can talk exclusively to my friends.
Can someone please explain why I was given this ban that is besides the reason given on the Halo4.com/ban page?
Any help is welcomed.

He got automatically banned because the system decided too many people were muting him. That’s all.

While I do say hi ever so often, I don’t think that is quite fair… especially since it is for a week. 24 or 48 hours I could understand, but a week?
I also do not use a Kinect mic… in fact, my Kinect is not even hooked up right now. I’ve always use my headset mic.

I recommend taking the Halo 4 disc and then washing it in the dishwasher. This should get the bug out so you are not banned anymore.

There is nothing else to discuss really. People in this thread have already answered your question. Too many people muted you, so the system temporarily voice banned you. Give it a week or two dude.
