I've been banned, but why?

Close to 1500 games played, and 264 hours played. I didn’t play a single game yesterday as one of my daily team mates was under the weather. Today we all logged in ready to play, and I’m seeing a message that I am “banned from playing halo infinite”

I’m certainly not good enough to be called a hacker and have been on quite the losing streak lately, so what’s the deal? I just quit playing now?

Sorry you suicided 3 times? Ban! Bad connection? Ban! Left a terrible game? Ban!

Oh, a griefer wants to leave a match early? Don’t worry, they will feed the enemy kills to end the game faster! Yes, this is why I lost a game yesterday…

Bans are usually very short, unless you’ve done something real bad.

I wish there were more detailed ban messages. Before you send in a support ticket make sure you log back in and check to see if you’re still banned. Many of the benign bans are short. Here are the links, 343i will respond back eventually but it may be a while.

I’m not sure how the banning process works, but if it’s anything like Overwatch it could be a case of petty reports flooding the system. Because people think you’re too good the system goes ‘yeah that sounds about right’ since automated banning systems only really go by the number of reports a singular individual receives. (This happened a few years ago on Overwatch when certain people that I won’t name here because witch hunting reasons decided it’d be funny if they mass reported people who played characters they didn’t like personally for every offense that Blizzard offered.)

I’d put a ticket out there to see if you can’t get the ban overturned.

The exact same has happened to me but I still have no reply from my ticket either ….

1500 games?? They’re probably doing it for your own health to see some sunlight for the first time since the game released.

So last week on sunday was the last time I played the game. I got on last tuesday and booted up to “user is banned”. Wednsday - still banned. Thursday - still banned and put in a ticket thats still open to this day.
I put hundreds of hours and US Dollars into the game unlocked all the armor I wanted, my stats were consistently improving, I was thoroughly enjoying myself.
Well now im down bad for no reason, worrying about hundreds of dollars I had put into the game, the hundreds of dollars I spent on collecting armor that I liked, the battlepass I completed, the campaign unlocks I got, the time sensitive unlocks I’d gathered, the stats, everything.
This is some kentucky-fried BS

Submitting in a support ticket is the best thing you can do to get this fixed. Use these links:

343i’s system won’t be fast but your ticket will be looked at eventually. This is the best method of making sure that a real person reviews your situation.
