I’ve been playing Halo since 2001.
Was my outdated DXDIAG file the reason I didn’t get an invite?
p.s. I updated it, please let me in?

It doesn’t really matter how long you’ve been an Insider for or how long you’ve been a Halo fan for. I wish it mattered, but it doesn’t. The Insiders picked for the flight are many, and have been chosen from several different groups that own different consoles and PCs with different specs. It’s just been bad luck.
Don’t despair, though! There’s bound to be more flights after this one and if you stay opted-in as an Insider, maybe you’ll get to participate in next one c:
It’s hard to know exactly what make them chose some insiders over others to invite for Betas, sometimes it’s about activity on forums, sometimes it’s about hardware specifications, and sometimes it’s totally random.
This is the first beta but I suppose they will make several betas until launch, so we’ll have more chances to get an invite.
Be sure to read this https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/news/inside-infinite-july-2021
The announcement explains the required steps to be eligible to beta tests, and in my case I’ve noticed that I disabled mails so I couldn’t receive anything.
Not everyone is guaranteed and invite and veterancy isn’t always a guarantee for prioritization
Going to close this off due to to the volume of similar threads about invites between here and the Insider forums. Please see my pinned PSA for more information
