I’m getting sick and tired of randomly being booted from games. It happens when the game countdown reaches 0, in the middle of a game, at the end, its random. It happens in arena and Warzone. No I am not betraying people, it just takes me straight to the menu.
My NAT is always open. I have Verizon FIOS 50Mbps. Xbox is directly connected to the router, no one else is sucking up the bandwidth. This happens during the evenings and well and never during the day.
Is this happening for anyone else? Why do i keep getting taken out of a game and taken straight to the lobby without any sort of message to tell me why?? This is becoming a huge issue as I keep leaving my team in ranked matches.
Since the game launched. This week I’ve only been able to play a few games out of the dozens I’ve tried. I’m done defending 343i when this is absolutely incompetent, MCC worked better for me.

I am just confused as to how I never experienced this in Halo 4, yet here we are several years later and it is now an issue?
Is there a fix for this yet? I’ve started experiencing this in the last week, it’s annoying when it’s like one match over the day but now it happens a couple of times a day. Just now I’ve been booted from the same warzone match twice and waiting to rejoin the match with my brother.
It’s especially -Yoink- when I’m doing very well and I just lose connection.
It’s not of those bull reasons like open NAT and whatever which is the go to reason which is never actually the reason for me. Xbox live doesn’t cut out cause I’m still in the party with my friends, it just happens on Halo 5.
Doesn’t matter what router, this is the only game that does it. Everything else maintains function. Party chat, xbox live, my internet, everything. I just got kicked out again hence why I’m back here. The entire Halo 5 shuts itself to offline for like 5 seconds then it’s like “Oh you are -Yoinking!- online, didn’t gather that since you were playing online”
Yea this is definitely a Halo 5 problem. Happened to me many times now. Let’s just do what we always do. Complain and not have 343 respond, wait until the next update to fix it. Find latest game breaking bug in most recent update. Can’t wait.
Have you went into your xbox settings and tested the multiplayer connection? I had issues yesterday with the multiplayer connection and then it went away.

My internet is more than good enough, the only problem is with Halo 5 and getting kicked mid game for no reason.
I’ve had times where right when a match is about to start, I get disconnected. I usually won’t be able to start a match until I close and re-open the game. Never been disconnected mid-match though
