it’s very sad how everytime i come on here to read forum posts there’s always something about how halo is becoming call of duty or something about halo has a flaw or something well along that line. It’s so bad that we cant discuss what we like about the game because it is always drowned out by people telling us that halo 4 will suck, or it’s cod in space, etc.
you haven’t played it yet, so you’re just speculating and assuming what is going to happen, you may enjoy these new changes when you get to play them
this is 343’s first real game, maybe you should lay off of them and give them a chance.

I know. I personally think its going to be amazing. But Halo hate has always been easy to trend -__-. Thats all this is, a trend. A fad. Once Halo 5 is released, this game will be awesome all of a sudden.
Yeah, it’s pretty sad to see people throw away their lives by wasting their time complaining about these so called “game breaking additions”. I remember the good old days in B.net where people actually had some class and discussed their theories and possibilities that actually contributed to the current Halo game in development.
Some may call me a fanboy but I really like the new direction Halo is taking. Its a refreshing new start on something that will be even better than the first trilogy. Also, we are finally getting personal with the Master Chief and they are finally going to tell his story. I am really looking forward to this! 343 take my money now!

It’s funny, no one wants CoD yet most want the same game over and over, the old Halo 2 was the best and should never have evolved etc. Nothing can beat Zelda: A Link to teh past, and who can forget good old super mario brothers?
Maybe, just maybe, nostalgia is making everything old seem so much better then it was?
Halo 2 with it’s bad netcode and insane amount of bullet magnetism, made getting a kill easier then CoD, spray and pray with BR. No, people need to realize that everything wasn’t perfect back in the days and things are getting better, evolution. Sure, not all new things will be good (AL) but those will be removed never to be seen again. Let’s not sacrifice everything new just to keep what’s old.

thanks, i can’t even talk about what i like about the campaign because it goes to the second page like that by all of the negative threads

That was just Reach. Despite the fact that fans did not like the game, it was still a financial success. In a sense, your argument is invalid because the series did not go downhill.

Creativity is taking someone else’s concept and making it your own. It has always been this way. Halo CE took elements from plenty of different games, Bungie gave them their own spin and put them all together. That’s innovation. When a game makes something that works and is successful, other game companies take that and give it their own unique twist. That is creativity. These people know what they’re doing, there are Halo fans in 343 from all sides of the spectrum.

I’ve been mega impressed by everything I’ve heard about Halo 4. Everything the team says in all their interviews convinces me that this is in the BEST hands! I’m excited to see what they do! Sure, some of their ideas sound “stolen” when read on paper. But im extremely excited to see how 343 make those ideas their own. Name me one game where every aspect of it wasn’t inspired by another game!!
Things like loadouts may have become popular because of CoD. But for some reason that then means that any game that uses loadouts automatically gains the stigma of being uninventive because thats what CoD has become.
Lets all just wait and see what 343 has done. I really don’t understand how people make all these assumptions based on a few quotes and 20 seconds of game footage!
