Your sneakin’ up on your target, no active camo. You melee your enemy from behind. You start to assassinate them. Suddenly, a teammate comes along. Just an innocent teammate who does EVERYTHING IN HIS POWER TO STEAL YOUR KILL EVEN THOUGH HE GAINS NOTHING FROM IT!!! I mean, why? Why do people do everything they can to steal a kill, which gets them one point out of 25, 50, 75, or even 1000! I mean, I get it if it’s a boss in Warzone, but other than that, there should be no reason to steal a teammate’s assassination. Just stand there and watch your teammate, a Spartan in badass armor, stab his/her victim with a huge combat knife. There are some people, myself included, who will let a player have the assassination, and just watch from 10 meters away. And if you are one of those people, congratulations. You aren’t a -Yoink-. I find myself having to use assassinations like Spin Cycle, Don’t Flip Out, Windup and Over the Top to get my victim out of my teammate’s line of fire. I understand if you start shooting because you can’t tell what’s going on, but if you’re just trying to steal the kill, don’t. No one likes you. I’ve had a match where the other players watched from a few meters back, or didn’t care. There was one guy who threw Splinter Grenades at me and another guy to steal our kills. Speaking of Splinter Grenades, one guy threw a Splinter Grenade at me while I was assassinating someone in a game off Slayer. He killed me and my victim. NO POINT AWARDED!!! What was the point, other than being a -Yoink-? And it was right after someone let me have an assassination too. Seriously, this needs to stop

I am usually a guy who likes to sit back and watch my teammate assassinate the enemy, if only just to see which assassination they are using. But sometimes after having a kill stolen by a teammate one too many times I get a little pissed and start doing it to them in return.

Whenever I see a teammate assassinating someone, I let them carry out their business while I provide cover for them (should I not steal their kill). I do get slightly pissed whenever my kill gets stolen, but that’s a risk I’ll have to contend with.

By the way, I love to use the physical assassinations that involve your bare hands (for the final blow). Sometimes I will rock Terminal Velocity occasionally.

I hate it when that happens and 343 really should do something to prevent it. Perhaps like make the assassination target immune to fire from the team that the person doing the assassination is on.

I’ll admit I’m guilty of doing this a couple times (hell I did it earlier today), but it is a pain in the -Yoink- to have it done to you, not gonna lie there. This doesn’t apply to me personally, but I guess since nobody assassinates anyone anymore, people who do that are either A.) Trolling, B.) Upset cause they didn’t get it first, or C.) Killing them with a melee because the animations take too long. That last one probably made no sense to any reasonable person, but whatever.

Yeah its sucks when that happens to any one and me makes me mad but I do it right back to them.

A better solution would be to award the kill to the person doing the assassination regardless of who actually kills the victim.

It is hard to get an assassination so you should at least get to see the animation go all the way through but that’s just my opinion.
