say no to month of mythic. Micro transactions never get more player friendly, they only ever get more aggressive. I’m not against REQs, I’m against micro transactions and month of mythic. “Buy a dozen prophets banes for ten bucks” it’ll be great and all will be -Yoink- dorey! After prophets bane it’ll be nornfang and then the CE pistol then some fancy bazooka. If we let Microsoft see that micro transactions and milking a game out of everything it’s worth is ok, then it’ll come back. It’ll come back in halo 6, and 7, and spin off games, too. We need to fight this system because it will only get worse. People listen to me. We are spending money on -Yoink!- REQs. Fancy REQs. You’re going to spend 10 dollars so that you can have a fancy energy sword?? No! That’s not right! Microsoft is sapping you of you’re money, but not because they need it for future games, no, they want that money because they’re being greedy and we need to say no to this mess.

Welcome to capitalism.
Warzone is an awful game mode and the req system is complete garbage and is one of the reasons I don’t play anymore. Who’s bright idea was it to make unlocking armor as random as a slot machine? No surprise they are officially making it pay to win now. It was already bordering on pay to win anyway since you can actually buy req packs. Won’t be long before they make their way into arena.
I’m standing up…
I’m now walking to the bathroom
The only micro-transactions I hate are the ones where you are forced to pay real money to unlock stuff because you can’t unlock them any other way (also known as paywalls). The only time I’m some what ok with those kind of paywall micro-transactions are if they only unlock cosmetic items, but if they put non-cosmetic items behinds those paywalls…
Cool, I’ll kill a player with it with one of my other millions of REQs and use it on them.
Microsoft already knows how well microtransactions work. That’s why they’re in Halo 5 to begin with. Microtransactions bring in more money than DLCs ever could. All they need to do is find the right balance between customer satisfaction and maximum profits.
Micro transactions can still say its just no to month of mythic. They need to make money somehow. They have all this DLC for free and no profit
Do you have any idea how many threads are already out there about this? Continue the discussion there instead of making another one of these.

They need to make money somehow? What, do you think they were going broke before they implemented microtransactions?
No, microtransactions are only ok for free-to-play games and those made by small indie developers. Triple A developers backed by multi-billion dollar corporations have no need to milk their customers for every cent. They make enough money to cover all expenses and enough to fund their next game by selling millions of copies of their games for $60.
Don’t let them deceive you, they are in no way, shape, or form hurting for money. They make plenty off of regular sales alone. If they absolutely feel like the game should have microtransactions, at least price them appropriately.
Think about it, $10 for a dozen Prophets Banes? That’s 1/6th the price of a full game. Do you honestly think that a dozen swords are worth 1/6th of a game? A game is comprised of so many different things, charging 1/6th the price of a full game for a dozen weapons or even cosmetic items is a complete ripoff.
Every REQ pack should be priced at a couple cents each, maximum. That’s a much fairer price, because that’s how much those things are actually worth against a full $60 game.

People make multiple “343 is great” threads, yet no one ever tells them to keep it all to one thread. Tell me, why is that? Why are you guys so against people speaking out about what they feel 343 is doing wrong?
Maybe, just maybe, if 343 actually acknowledged what the fans have uneasy feelings about, these threads would be more civil and less frequent. Because then we wouldn’t have much to complain about, now, would we?
I believe that mythic reqs should not be purchased and we need to stop the “Month of Mythic” in its tracks!!

They don’t need to make money, it’s Microsoft they’re a multi millionif not billionaire company they don’t need our extra money
Already have plenty of active topics discussing this at the moment
