Okay, so where is your proof that information was to be released in your region. Where, in anything, did they say that they were releasing information?
What you don’t seem to understand is that the information you follow is incorrect. Yes, there was information. No, we won’t see it until possibly the 5th of March due to the embargo.

Obviously not since the community is constantly in an uproar.
This is way too long of a wait from the initial teaser to good, solid info on the game. The whole “going dark to create hype after revealing the game” plan fails miserably if you don’t time the great awakening of information well.
At this point, 8 -Yoink!- months after the teaser, the secrecy no longer creates hype, just frustrates fans.
Already I’m missing Bungie. Like someone else said in another thread, around this point in time 2 years ago, we had early footage of Reach’s first cutscene and were already gearing up for the beta.
Plus, the whole “going dark to create hype” plan always seemed stupid to me. Why try to build up the hype before the revealing, where all fans have hype for is rumors and predictions? The time to create hype is after the fans have everything they need to know, and have something to be hyped for.
All in all, I think the big failure here is that Halo 4 was revealed too early.

Reason why, is that people like the OP follow people that post misinformation. I can name at least two of them, the main one being Halo4Follower on YouTube.
The Media Embargo is sort of like how any government is. There are secrets that they can’t release until months or years later, and because of this, people make rumors, and just screw everything up.
343 has done pretty much nothing to hype Halo 4 so far.
All the hype has been community created.

I didn’t claim that I’t doesn’t exist, I said I’ve SEEN PEOPLE POST they they’ve come to the conclusion, ne’er said anything about believing in no existence

I don’t mind if they will say anything about the game before it is out… there are only 2 poles: A) the game will be super awesome (AND) B) the game will suck totally… and somewhere halo 4 will land. But a trailer or whatever don’t helps me to see where halo 4 will land.
May be the trailer will make me think: oh halo 4 will suck… and in real it will be different… well or the other way around.
I personaly can’t understand why som many ppl are so upset atm. Would be funny if halo 4 will come out not untill 2013 
… would be a bloodbath i think… and i will enjoy the show…
