Making a new topic now that it’s the 15th. Seems like 343 is really good at not answering questions.
WEEK of the 15th, not the 15th. They can release it on sunday and their release date would be true
Learn to read.
Week of the 15th.
Not the 15th.
Let me say it again.
Week of the 15th.
Week.

While you’re not wrong, 343 could atleast give us a specific date now that it is “the week of the 15th”
They said this week. Not 15th, that’s just speculation.

No they can’t. Update hasn’t finished going through cert testing.

They could, but they don’t have to
343 said week of the 15th to have a little leway so they can fix any potential problems they might still have

No other AAA game dev says things like “week of the 15th”. Example: Rockstar sent out emails last week saying GTAV would be getting an update today (12/15).

Or you could be like activision and say that the update comes out on the 10th and release it today.

Yeah, but using your example, how many times has Rockstar updated GTA V since it came out? And how long did it take for the online heists to come out compared to when they said they’d be out? I don’t remember specifics, so feel free to educate me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure there was a very wide difference there. Like, many, many months.
Week of the 15th.

They only respond if you call them out on not responding or if you bump a post they tell you to stop. I’ve never been on a forum and seen this little of moderator responses. Is halo just not as popular anymore?

Or you could be 343, part of Microsoft (who does the certifying), and have no reason not to have the current status of any update or its anticipated release date.

Actually been a lot of updates. Two in just past 3 or 4 months. I get what you are saying, but the Heists update was arguably more content than all of Halo 5 combined Much different than this Halo 5 update.
Is it me or does it seem that a lot of these people do not read anymore they said the (WEEK) of the 15th I know it seems a little odd but have patience it’ll will come.

Visceral does the same thing with BF Hardline for example. Nobody knew the Robbery DLC was coming out on September 16th until an official statement one or two days beforehand.

WHOa no way you just even mentioned GTA5 heists. You do realize they had THE longest on going delay in history? Heists were supposed to come out back on the 360 at launch. It took them over 500 days (literally) to finally release heists and that didn’t even come out until the X1 was released. There was even a site dedicated to counting the days from the day heists were supposed to be released. It ended up being well over 500 days. So just wow, I would never use GTA or Rockstar as an example. Rockstar is known for always missing deadlines.
