Yup… too bad so far it’s not really appealing.

I know, Im excited and sad, on one hand Waypoint will explode with activity on the other hand its like watching an old king die (Bnet) sigh

But waypoint stats suck :frowning:

And will all H3 and H2 data be erased?

No it won’t. They actually have better stats for Halo 2 imo.

They need to take some serious notes from bnet stats because as it stands im using bnet to track game history and halotracker for everything else. It saddens me to see that waypoints current stat tracker will be the one they direct new players to.

Could be worse, they could for example delete all stat tracking for Halo Wars or som-oh wait…

That “old king” is only going to be resurrected soon enough. Bungie will likely have everything they had for Halo, plus more, coupled with their new IP when it releases.

any word on if we will still be able to fileshare and if download numbers will carry over?

Nope, the guy was saying that Halo 3 & Halo 2 stats would remain on Bnet, but completely frozen, just like Reach.

For sure, I will buy Bungies next release, without a doubt and will most likely hit the forums. But I still feel kinda bad when I hear stuff like this =/ its like having a forclosure on your childhood home.

But I fully expect Bungie to do very well with their next release, after that, it all up in the air.

Whatever project Bungie is working on is guaranteed to be 1.) awesome, and 2.) ensure that I’ll be purchasing it opening day. The question is, where will 343i go after the end of Halo 6?

> But waypoint stats suck

I wouldn’t say they necessarily suck… but they’re nowhere as elaborate as the game history at Bungie.net.

The only thing that sucks about them is the fact it takes so long to load the page to view one little bit of information.

Let’s hope that the current stat outage on Waypoint is an attempt to move game history info and other data that was on Bungie… onto the Waypoint servers.

My Arena division/percentile better start showing on here… Never has, even though I’m definitely in a division it says I haven’t qualified.

343i must catch up with Bungie’s stat tracking system ASAP. The current stat tracking system sucks quite hard.

Can’t say that I’m surprised in the least. Nope, just can’t do it.
