We all have our few ups and many many downs about halo 4 mmc and halo 5. But people listen, its not too late we can still go back. Go back to reach and halo 3. It would make 343 listen when we tell them what we want for halo.
To each his own. I loved every Halo in its time, but I honestly prefer the general direction the series is headed. Not saying I don’t think there are problems with this game, though.

I don’t know… we’ve lost to much already. The old games feel like home to me though, I miss those stiyles, now halos going down the road of mlg which I don’t like at all, that’s just not halo, period. There are plenty of other games that fallow mlg and much better then halo ever could. Sorry if this seems harsh, but I feel a little lost atm with all the stress the community has now, it never was this bad, not till halo 4 changed things. Yes I’m aware halo reach is were it started but it it took off with halo 4. Not saying any of the games are bad at all, I’m just saying there not halo enough.

Go back if you want to, I’m not, I have played every Halo as it launched, but I enjoy Halo 5, so I’ll stick with it.

I have played a fair amount of Halo 5 and can confidently say that this is the only Halo game which I have not enjoyed. The only reason I continue to play is to justify my purchase.
it’s really the little things that irritate me with Halo 5
How do we not have a voting screen or social playlists? i’ve just returned to Halo 5 because of Big Team and i’m a fan of that but seriously it’s annoying when you play 7 games a night and everyone of them is strongholds, and you only get to play 2 different maps. i like the maps, i like strongholds but damn is it frustrating to play the same -Yoink- over and over again. i get it with reach you’re always going to be playing hemorrhage but at least the game types changed so you’d get some variety.
there are so many little issues that just bug the hell outta me with 343’s direction none of which really have anything to do with the main core of the game, i love games evolving, i liked reach’s evolution from 3. i have no issue with thrusters or unlimited sprint, it’s about the simple details, like getting the aiming right like all other halo’s. even with the new adjustments they’re still off. dead zone changes were great but aim acceleration is still screwed up. we need a voting screen, we need better party connections and UI. we need an intuitive pre-game lobby again where you can gasp actually communicate with other players and see who you’re playing alongside and against. they really screwed up all the simple things that have been in every single MP game since the beginning, it’s quite frustrating.
whoever designed the UI for this game should get a pat on the back for the menu screen and punch in the baby maker for everything else

Story wise: yeah, I think we need to 100%.
Gameplay on the other hand: I say no, it’s fine the way it is now. I’ve played all Halo multiplayers, and enjoyed them all, some more than others(Reach, I’m looking at you and your terrible bloom). But for the most part, I’m pleased with Halo 5 and it’s gameplay(minus the slide, charge, and groundpound).

I know. This is the only Halo I feel I need to force myself to play it. So much of me badly wants to like the game, but that’s just me lying to myself to justify my purchase.
