The one just announced is just a custom designed xbox that nerdist is doing. LINK. Not 343. There is still hope that they release one to the public, i hope they do, the halo 4 xbox looked beautiful.

Actually, it’s kind of likely.
Halo is quite a big franchise and they’re bringing the whole MC series to Xbox One, it would be quite, what’s the proper word, “illogical” to not make an Xbox One edition.
There aren’t that many exclusive games yet for the X1 and from what I’ve understood the units sold aren’t that high at the moment. Many bought the original Xbox for Halo, and the 360 for Halo, seeing as this is the next big thing for the Xbox One since its release, there’s no reason not to make one.
They can then make a Halo 5 edition in a year as well, it’s a year apart. I bet that an MCC xbox edition would generate more Xbox One console sales than a Halo 5 edition, and isn’t sales of the console what they kind of need at the moment?
I’d bet money that 343 does NOT make a custom Xbox One for Halo MCC.

Halo MCC is a collection of games from previous consoles, Halo 5 will be built specifically for the Xbox One.
It just makes more sense they design one for Halo 5.

I agree, but almost everyone on here is getting this game and they are going to buy an xbox one this year. they will sale more consoles with this game then with halo 5. I know they will do one for halo 5 no matter what but not as much people will buy it because they bought it this year. It is just smarter to make a bundle this year.
They better release a MCC themed console, because i don’t want to wait a year to get a Halo themed Xbox One.
Since this is the year when the largest amount of consumers are going to buy an Xbox One, it would only be logical to have a respective Halo-themed console.

This! people still buy a special edition xbox. even if they already have one. so making this game bundled with a xbox wont hurt halo 5’s xbox. there are people who buy the special editions even if they already have an xbox. so make a HMCC xbox this year. and everyone would be happy.
Not logical, just convenient.
