There is a way to do it. It is in the Audio/Video section of the Options menu. You can turn off the music as well. I’m not particularly fond of the score for this game.
As for the topic at hand, I agree with the OP. There may be times when it is possible, but 99.99% of the time, it usually results in a loss when Palmer utters those words. I have been on a huge losing streak over the passed few days simply because my team is usually the one comprised of idiots who feverishly believe that trying to capture the fortress, garage, or spire while there is a Legendary Boss in play will somehow win us the game. It’s really annoying trying to take one of those guys down alone only to be outgunned at the last second by half of the enemy team.
