Over the last 3 weeks, Halo fans have been divided regarding the state of Halo Infinite.
Some argued that the game, despite some flaws, was amazing and was on track for the best Halo launch ever.
The others argued that the game had many flaws and worried that it would be poorly received.
Unfortunately, the latter has been constantly attacked, harassed, and bullied by individuals standing up for 343 Industries.
Now that Halo Infinite is delayed, I expect these same individuals to say “I agree it should have been delayed all along to fix its many flaws”.
To that I say, how dare you. You’ve shown nothing but contempt for Halo fans, mocking them, and calling them names.
It is quite clear, who the toxic ones are.
I thought it looked good but needed polish and now it’s getting it the delay itself is huge blow to the launch but a good thing apparently when covid hit development on the game pretty much was at a Stand still which i believe it phil warned us back in march on ign podcast unlocked that a delay was possible and it happened this is good news gives 343i more time to get it right i support 343i on this one

Yes, let’s keep using COVID-19 as a reason why a game that has been in development for 5 years is being delayed 3 weeks after their showcase when the Halo community split. They delayed it because of the backlash; not because of COVID-19. If fan’s hadn’t been upset, they would have launched it the way it is now.

We don’t know apparently it was planned for series x launch from the get go and they ran into development hurdles plus covid yea it was definitely needed i really hope they keep in high spirits and not kill themselves

343 Industries isn’t your friend. It’s a company. Don’t pretend like they’re your pal. When they mess up, call them out. Don’t take excuses.

I called them multiple times for halo 5 campaign so nice try also did with 4’s multiplayer and no im not defending them so don’t come at with me with that nonsense
Everyone attacked everyone the whole time, because the hype is real.
I’m going to be so sad if the game is pushed back a whole year.

There’s been development problems thats a fact at this point far as i know that’s common for halo games
There is hate from both sides though. I saw someone on here the other day bragging and talking crap to a classic fan that nobody cared about classic fans and they were the minority and dont matter anymore. The thing is we at least have a right to be upset. New fans are fine with not caring about what the old fans want, but when things change against there favor they get upset. Now imagine this is only a small taste of what the old fans have felt since Halo 4.
I hope this delay was made not just for the graphics but for a more classic approach. Many classic fans were done with Halo after 5 including me. Infinite was their chance to make it right and they only went halfway. Not good enough

I disagree. I think that the art style the have chosen does not work well. A company should never pander to their old fans. Adding nostalgic things like the old armor style was perfect. Adding antagonists that have a conection to the original story in some way was perfect. But the world should look new and dynamic. I dont want to play Halo CE 3.0. (2.0 was updated graphics on the original). With all the draw backs of halo 4 and 5, they still looked amazing. If this is going to last 10 years it should put me in a state of awe. Plastic wont do that for this classic fan.

Infinite looks way more like 4/5 than 1-3. And 5 is the most plastic looking of all of them.

Even if Halo Infinite ends up being the best Halo game of all time, there will always be haters saying it sucks compared to Halo 3. You cannot win all the time. And it would be foolish to try.

Whatever the case may be. It needed the delay, but i cant see them changing the art style which sucks for both of us because it really is poor. No matter what art style they are using.
Everyone already seems to be missing the point. This is to call out all of the jerks who bullied and harassed Halo fans that said the game needed more time or wasn’t up to par. By delaying the game, 343 Industries has proven them wrong, after they attacked people who thought differently than them.
