It's More Than A Clan, It's A Brotherhood

Greetings, I am Brigadier General BAW Hoot, Halo Division Commander for the Brothers At War Community.

A lot of First Person Shooter clans are “military” themed, which is simply code for a 10 year old who watched a bunch of military movies, was extremely moved by it, and now is on a power trip. People who want to wear a bunch of stars and call themselves the “Clan Admiral General”, but don’t have the foggiest idea how to actually lead.

Brothers At War is different, while we are a military themed community we have established ourselves like this to support our overall structure and provide for a more meaningful community experience. Members of BAW don’t simply receive rank, they have to earn it. Through hard work, discipline, dedication to the community, and proving you are ready to take on additional responsibilities is how you will gain rank in BAW.
If that sounds ridiculous, or to much work, well guess what? You probably aren’t the type of individual we want anyway. We want people to earn their ranks, not solely based on how they play, but how they are willing to support and improve our organization.

The Brothers At War has a chain of command to view it click here, you will begin to understand how serious we are about gaming and the military structure.

The Brothers At War support all types of gamers, from ultra competitive (MLG types), to casual (I just wanna come home from work and play, types).
We do require members to attend regularly scheduled practices, so, if making Halo Reach apart of your life isn’t something you are capable or even willing to do, then BAW isn’t the gaming community for you.

The Brothers At War has a long clan history, the primary leadership has been together for a while now, in different forms, and I can guarantee that the Brothers At War is not like any clan you have seen or been apart of before. We are a community, and while we look out for our members we also expect our members to live up to their responsibilities to the community. We are a family and family always comes first, but members of the Brothers At War must also fulfill their duty, duty to the Brothers At War.

If you don’t think you are “skilled” enough to join, we will make you better. If you don’t think you have the time to join, we have squads to fit peoples life styles. If you are tired of getting shot, meleed or ran over by a “friendly”, running for an objective just to have no one covering you, then let it end with BAW. Stop playing alone, and stop playing with randoms, join the Brothers At War today!

+Members must be at least 14 years of age
+Posses a working microphone
+Be able to access our website regularly
+Be able to attend practices regularly

If you are ready to take the next step in clan evolution, to join a truly well structured organization from the top down, to join a team with a plan, then start your virtual Halo career with us, the Brothers At War today!

I’m interested, I currently left the old clan I used to run because my division became too big, I am asking you, how many members are there?

For Halo? Officially just me, we have a couple recruits pending, but we are just starting out in Reach.

> For Halo? Officially just me, we have a couple recruits pending, but we are just starting out in Reach.

Oh, great! So are there leadership slots open? I’m planning on starting a clan since the once I’m currently in let’s me create/join others.

Another question, do I have to change my GT? If its obligatory, I am not interested, I love my current GT…

We don’t allow “moon lighting”, you are either in our clan or you are not. As for the tag, it is encouraged but not mandatory.

Nvm, lost interest… But my clan is looking for clan battles? If you have enough players to help you out, MSG me for a friendly 4v4? We changed our rules and regulations, and policies as well, we are now a full fledged clan. We are The 251st Regiment. Check us out at www.the251st.guildlaunch.com

LOL does your clan know you go around trying to join other clans? Doesn’t sound like a very reputable community.

Are you dumb? I obviously told you before they used to let us join others if they weren’t strict. I guess you’re illiterate. We just changed our rules and regulations, and are now a strict clan. Thanks a lot for being “mature”. And you should try raising your KDR… It’s pretty bad… And does your clan have ex MLG players? Do they have dedicated mature gamers? Oh, I’m sorry, you guys play CoD more than Halo, I checked out your site shows a lot more cod than Halo, you are a disgrace to our community…

Now look who’s being immature, attacking me because I pointed out a very real flaw in your “clan”. Do we play more CoD than Halo, yes that’s because I am the only Halo player currently, and I am “building” the Division. These things take time and patience something I’m going to assume you do not have.
As for my K/D, I don’t really see how that is a factor at all. I have real world leadership experience, BAW is one of the best CoD: Black Ops clans in the world. I mention that because, how can a clan be cohesive and operate as a single unit if your players are out joining other clans? We are small, but have a dedicated base of players.

My K/D is just fine, not to mention I play with a team, so if I do have any short comings, my team can assist me. But you probably don’t understand that since you are to busy looking for other teams to join, right?

As for a disgrace to the Halo community, well that’s just an ignorant thing to say. I’ll just let it slide since you are probably 15 years old. I’ve been an active Halo player since Combat Evolved, and I am also the owner/co-founder of a tournament based website specifically for the Halo franchise. What have you done for the community lately?

Nuff Said…

The Brothers At War are hosting a recruitment promotional drive all this weekend. Members who apply to join this weekend will have their enlistment probationary period cut in half to 15 days.

Also, in an effort to boost our Command base, members who have prior leadership experience in Reach, and want to lead a Squad for the Brothers At War will be interviewed for the process.

So, if you want to join a well structured, dedicated community visit the BrothersAtWar.net

Lolz STOP THE HATE!!! sheesh their just silly ol’ clans, they shouldn’t mean THAT much to you.

This is truly hilarious… My clan used to be a small organization for random people to meet up and game, not really a clan I admit. But did you not read before? We just became a full fledged clan after changing our rules and regulations! Am I going to have to underline that -Yoink- for you huh? And as far as me being 15, you got that right, but I also played halo since CE, lol, I was 4 years old owning elites at that age? Problem? So how about that clan battle I’m asking you for, winner gets bragging rights, looser has to suck it up?

I’d be very interested in a clan battle, except for the fact that I’ve only got like 2 players. When the time is right, we will be here for clan battles.

I wouldn’t mind a good old doubles match? It’s your call my friend, I’m here to get your confirmation

Sorry, but I’d need time to prepare, I’ve never even played with the Recruit, if you’d like you can visit our website and challenge us for a later date.

I’ll be interested in possibly joining. Out of all my rl friends I’m really the only one that plays Halo, which puts me at a disadvantage.

My only trouble is that I’m pretty busy with sports.

Give us a shout Bullet, not all of our squads are the same, which means not all of them require the same amount of activity as the others.

> Lolz STOP THE HATE!!! sheesh their just silly ol’ clans, they shouldn’t mean THAT much to you.

This is probably one of the most ignorant statements I have heard. Obviously, you have never been in charge of a clan before. I, personally put a lot of time and effort into my clan and am even financially invested in it.

> Give us a shout Bullet, not all of our squads are the same, which means not all of them require the same amount of activity as the others.

Does that mean I should register on your web site or send you a message on XB Live?
