Greetings, I am Brigadier General BAW Hoot, Halo Division Commander for the Brothers At War Community.
A lot of First Person Shooter clans are “military” themed, which is simply code for a 10 year old who watched a bunch of military movies, was extremely moved by it, and now is on a power trip. People who want to wear a bunch of stars and call themselves the “Clan Admiral General”, but don’t have the foggiest idea how to actually lead.
Brothers At War is different, while we are a military themed community we have established ourselves like this to support our overall structure and provide for a more meaningful community experience. Members of BAW don’t simply receive rank, they have to earn it. Through hard work, discipline, dedication to the community, and proving you are ready to take on additional responsibilities is how you will gain rank in BAW.
If that sounds ridiculous, or to much work, well guess what? You probably aren’t the type of individual we want anyway. We want people to earn their ranks, not solely based on how they play, but how they are willing to support and improve our organization.
The Brothers At War has a chain of command to view it click here, you will begin to understand how serious we are about gaming and the military structure.
The Brothers At War support all types of gamers, from ultra competitive (MLG types), to casual (I just wanna come home from work and play, types).
We do require members to attend regularly scheduled practices, so, if making Halo Reach apart of your life isn’t something you are capable or even willing to do, then BAW isn’t the gaming community for you.
The Brothers At War has a long clan history, the primary leadership has been together for a while now, in different forms, and I can guarantee that the Brothers At War is not like any clan you have seen or been apart of before. We are a community, and while we look out for our members we also expect our members to live up to their responsibilities to the community. We are a family and family always comes first, but members of the Brothers At War must also fulfill their duty, duty to the Brothers At War.
If you don’t think you are “skilled” enough to join, we will make you better. If you don’t think you have the time to join, we have squads to fit peoples life styles. If you are tired of getting shot, meleed or ran over by a “friendly”, running for an objective just to have no one covering you, then let it end with BAW. Stop playing alone, and stop playing with randoms, join the Brothers At War today!
