Admittedly, my memory of Halo 3 may be sketchy, but I remember Reach very clearly, and 4’s multiplayer was fantastic. Never before could I get killed by a Battle Rifle in what feels like 1.5 seconds or even shorter. With unlimited sprint, climbing ledges, and the boost ability, shields and health should be stronger than before. but they feel 60% of what they were in 4.
You clearly didnt play Halo 4 since it’s the one that focused on casuals, perks, killstreaks, loadouts and armor abilities. And yet you say halo 5 is the one that plays like CoD…

Halo 4 was the closest cod game there was but Halo 5 is less.

-That might be because there was no BR in Reach.
-Halo had thrusters before COD
-The BR has the same shots to kill as before, in-fact having just played some Halo 4 I can tell you that the Halo 5 shields recharge noticeably faster then the Halo 4 shields.

Wait, you think halo 4 multiplayer is fantastic? I think that is the first time I’ve seen that. Although H4 did do action sack right, I think that was the only thing it did well.

He is not alone in liking H4. IT quite often gets picked on MCC in BTB. Just because hardcore fans on here don’t like it, contrary to popular belief does not mean it is universally disliked. I love Halo 4. My few complaints about the game was lack of maps for BTB and no ranked play. But the gameplay was spot on. No issues with aiming. H5 still remains very challenging and inconsistent with the aim when compared to every other shooter I have every played and I have played lots of them. I’m not talking hit detection. I’m talking reticule aim. but I have adapted.

Dude, I’m about as casual as they come, the only game I’ve ever had trouble aiming in was Halo 4. It took me a while to figure out that the game aim assist was so high I had to correct for it. I’ve been here since CE and I’ve defended reach against all kinds of hate. I’ll defend H4’s campaign, but the multiplayer was pretty bad. The kill streak bonuses, the lack of de-scoping, the having to pick the perfect load out was all alien to me. I’m not going to say it wasn’t Halo, but it is the only halo game that didn’t feel that way to me. I spent less time with the multiplayer for H4 than any other game. If you enjoyed Halo 4 more than I did, bully for you. The idea that Halo 5 is more like COD than H4 on the other hand is silly.

That’s because the BTB maps in H4 were/are great. Exile, complex, longbow, vortex, ragnarok etc. Those were all very fun maps for BTB. Especially compared to the current stock of H5 BTB maps.

Not only here though. Sometimes I discuss Halo somewhere else and some people say stuff like that.
I think yesterday I even had someone argue that and go name calling, and say that halo 5 forge was bad and reach forge was better. Couldn’t properly argue with him since I was also trying to connect to friend on halo wars 2. I also find most people who I argue with don’t bring arguments much and do more name calling and so on.
