it's halo 4, not halo 3.5

Halo needs to evolve so people stay interested in it. If it was the samething over and over and over again, I doubt anyone would be interested in it.

so chill, wait till you get the game to decide if it lives up to it’s expectations or not. 343 knows how important it is and they’re not going to screw it up.

they have Frank O’Connor who’s been there since the original halo game and i doubt he’s going to let them ruin the game.

i would be interested in it,but for the sake of the community and for me too it should evolve, yes

you stupid guys think that when we say we want it to be similar to halo 3 since its a sequel that we want a complete copy

but we dont want to,we want it to stay halo

halo 3 evovled from halo 2 as well, with good innovative new ideas, forge, theater and equipment and it was just perfect

and halo 4 should evolve like this, not into reachs direction,343 should just forget that reach even existed

While I agree, it should be a sequel thus resembling the previous Halo’s pretty well.

I thought Frankie joined Bungie midway through Halo 2’s development.

While Halo 3 is my favorite game, it was not perfect. To be honest, no Halo game is, but that’s alright because I believe nothing is perfect. Halo 3’s equipment may have been ‘cool’, but it wasn’t the best for gameplay. Why else would MLG remove it from their playlist? Also the connection wasn’t the best, the netcode and what not, along with inconsistent bullet spread with the BR. Forge and Theater were excellent though.

I also loved the grenades in Halo 3, in Reach they might be more powerful but you just don’t have that control you did in 3. In Halo 3 the grenades you could bounce off walls and the ground exactly how you pleased moving in a straight line. Reach’s grenades almost randomly bounce all over the place.

The maps in Halo 3 were excellent, The Pit, Narrows (Default Narrows is kind of iffy because of the shift of spawns. If they were static like they were in MLG (They always spawn on one side) it would be a LOT better), Heretic, Avalanche, Foundry variants, and more. In Halo 3 the only map that stood out to me as good was Asylum, or Sanctuary. But it’s only a forge world remake.

but there’s a market, it’s in competition against COD, and therefore needs to evolve so it can attract other people who haven’t played the game. If it stayed the same than there would be little to no chance that it would attract a bigger audience.

so simply take game mechanics from its competitor to be able to compete on the market? halo can do this without copying, halo doesnt need this

Put the old stuff is funner and better. Halo needs to change, but it needs to change from Halo 3 not Halo reach.

period, thats what i wanted to tell those idiots the whole time, thank you

have you personally played it? have you put it in your xbox and play through the first level and multiplayer? wait, no? then how can you judge? you’re just speculating. You can say something but most likely it’s not going to change.

yeah thats the problem,i can just hope

and no i didnt play it,but i can assume it cause of my 10 year old halo experience, and loadouts(classes) is definitely not halo,in no way,and it should never be

then wait to see how it turns out.

stop hatin

It’s Halo 4, not Reach 2, or Gears of Duty.

> It’s Halo 4, not Reach 2, or Gears of Duty.

yes, and it will be halo 4, just chill and let 343 do it’s job.

Your first point is ridiculous.

Halo “evolved” with Reach and damn near died. Reach got rid of 3/4 of the population in halo playlists.

Stop trolling.

Halo 3.5 is having better graphics, with few weapons added, and a different campaign, which a small part of the community wants and besides that would be kind of lazy of 343 to do that considering they could do so much more with a creative and idealistic franchise. And plus, 343 wants to attract more people towards Halo while still keeping the classic players so its really a buisness move that benefits both sides of the community. So Spartan Points, Custom Loadouts, Armor Abilities and Instant respawns are going to be apart of Halo’s Core Gameplay and to be completely honest, im absolutley EXCITED!

I read the GI article, and it just screams Reach 2.

  1. Reach wasn’t a 343 project
  2. there’s things in halo 4 that are different than reach’s
  3. if you’re going to speculate that bad about halo 4 that you’re convinced that it’s going to suck, DON’T BUY IT!!

> 1) Reach wasn’t a 343 project

Spielberg didn’t direct Jurassic Park 3; your point?

> 2) there’s things in halo 4 that are different than reach’s

A lot of similarities, too.

> 3) if you’re going to speculate that bad about halo 4 that you’re convinced that it’s going to suck, DON’T BUY IT!!

Given the chance at this very moment, I wouldn’t.
I’m still allowed to speculate and discuss it.

I would have preferred Halo 3.5 to Halo 4. They are changing to much, too fast. Like they just completely forsaken the entire elite community.
