To be clear, I don’t mean the whole game, just like custom games or forge or a new, exclusive mode.
What purpose and function can it have on VR? I’m curious.
What would be beneficial about it being in VR, all VRified AAA games are watered down for a gimmick. It most likely will have zero VR function. perhaps fireteam Raven could be ported to VR. or a new experience designed for the medium but not infinite
I don’t see it happening for Halo Infinite. I’m not sure how Halo Wars 2 did on the Windows store (or rather who plays it on both Xbox One and Windows 10) but if they were going to do something VR related, I could only really see it after Infinite to take advantage of this new PC crowd they’ve acquired.
I haven’t heard much about VR and Xbox One for awhile now.
they said that xbox isn’t getting vr because Microsoft doesn’t like how it would fit into the modern living room with all of the wires and sensors but I really don’t mind it.

Forge… That’s about it, imagine being able to forge by hand… Wait, no, pc would be a better platform for forge as long as you can forge maps on pc and use them on console
not sure how well it would play on VR. normally VR has the player physically moving and doing stuff with body movements (essentially its a Wii you wear on your face). such gameplay mechanics probably will not transfer well into the series
If the technology can finally get past this last hurdle, and the demand goes up, you can sure bet that it will 100% be in infinite … – eventually. The real question is whether those two timelines will line up, and right now VR seems to be “stuck in traffic” and there wasn’t anything super compelling shown at CES so it could be a while.
…what about VR? No, really, what about it matters? Why would Halo have to suddenly be in VR just because VR exists? VR is just a couple steps above 3D TV IMO.
I personally want VR for Halo. VR doesnt require movement, just a large screen plastered to your face. I want to feel like I’m actually in the game. That would be amazing.
I honestly think VR is a huge waste of time and money currently. PSVR isn’t lighting the world on fire. MS kinect was the same. Both have done pretty good but that’s it and in big business that’s not good enough.
Until VR is like a Star Trek holodeck and I don’t have to wear anything, especially on my face, then it’ll be a thing.

I do too just not something like Halo: Recruit, I want something more like pavlov vr but in halo. (im aware that there are halo maps in pavlov but it doesn’t feel right without the right weapons) I would atleast want vr only custom game browser or like social arena.

I guess that could also work
