If you have ever used this excuse you are the reason why the franchise is dying. This has got to be the dumbest excuse i have ever heard in a game. I am talking about the stunning lack of content this game had at launch and is still missing. Let’s look at what this game is missing which its more successful predecessors have. Forge at launch, armor customization at launch, emblem customization at launch, infection at launch, griff ball at launch, race at launch, BTB at launch, and so so so much more. I mean the fact infection is still not in game yet shows us how incompetent 343 is. Infection IS custom games, it is duck hunt, jenga, zombie city, left 4 dead, fat kid, omega journey, hide and seek, the list of -Yoink- you can do with infection goes on and on and 343 have still not included it. This leads me to the topic title. People who make the down right moronic response that is “it’s coming later” don’t realize how damaging that is to the game. First impressions count, when the game lacks these things at launch people will leave the game and in most cases will never return, leading to lower populations and in turn a more smaller community.Look at the mcc, it had a disastrous launch and now look. It has been fixed now but nobody plays it. All of my friends who are huge halo fans stopped playing halo 5 after the first 2weeks because of how little content there is and moved onto other games which had content. Now look, halo 5 has dropped in price considerably and it is falling lower and lower on the most played xbox games list. It doesn’t matter how much free content comes later, as it doesn’t make up for a poor launch. It has been 2 months and still no infection. Yeah sure we got forge, but without infection custom games are dead. You could say those who leave aren’t true halo fans but look. this game has a lower population than past halo games, are you saying the higher population of reach and 3 weren’t occupied by halo fans? Please, 343 don’t care about the community otherwise they would give us this content at launch, i have stopped playing halo 5 now simply because of the lack of content. Halo 6 will be 343’s final chance for me. Halo reach should be the standard for content at launch, multiple game modes, forge at launch, splitscreen, full armor customization, emblem customization, grif ball, infection, invasion, btb. Goodbye halo 5, guess i will have to wait years for a complete halo game
