Yet 343i didn’t add elites into Halo5’s MP.
Is it just me or is 343i just taunting Elite fans?

We only saw the beta. Reserve full judgement on Elites until E3.
We don’t know if elites will be playable in Halo 5. However, Halo Online shows that the Spartan IVs with all their abilities can play against elites. If anything I think it might be a tease that elites will in fact be playable I’m Halo 5.
One can hope.

I hope it is a tease. Really want to play as an Elite again.

Yeah, except Elites bones haven’t gone through Carbide Ceramic Ossification (which make them “virtually indestructable” like spartans. Imagine a big–Yoink- elite ground pounding from 30 feet up, only to have their arm and fist shatter like a glass baseball bat hitting a steel pole.

They come from a planet with a much more intense gravitational pull than Earth’s, and they are a species that has achieved space flight on their own thousands of years before humanity. I’m pretty sure they can do a ground pound without harm.
If Elites are in Halo 5 then I will be super happy. I’ve always loved playing as elites ever since Halo 2 so they should definitely be in Halo 5. I’m kind of worried that they won’t be in Halo 5 because they weren’t in Halo 4 and now Spartans are getting all these awesome (and some not very good) “Spartan Abilities”. 343i could have trouble with making Spartan Abilities equal to Elite Abilities so why bother…? But if Elites don’t come to Halo 5 then I’ll be disappointed but I’ll still definitely buy Halo 5…no matter what.

I don’t understand the complication of spartan abilities to elites. Elites were always the mobile ones, they were the ones to climb onto boxes, the ones to strafe left and right, the ones to push themselves out of the way of things, the ones that fell out of carriers and landed fine, the ones to charge like a beserking monster. Literally all of the spartan abilities were natural movements that they did in reach, all it would take is a change in animation, it’d absolutely be possible, it wouldn’t even be as hard as giving humanoids these movements, they could even just reuse the reach animations if they were lazy. I don’t understand how noone notices this.
Sauce?
Spartans and Elites train and some even work together in the field(Arbiter and Locke). Helioskrill was developed by humans and sangheilis on sanghelios for spartans to use, I hope this might be indications that we will be able to play as Elites in Halo 5, since both species are basicly working on the Spartan program
“Were it so easy.”
Nah, Elites would disrupt the even starts premise.
And they would look strange running and thrusting, imo.
I have my fingers crossed for some Sangheili multiplayer action. The return of Invasion or some sort of Elite VS Elite gamemode
My main concern is that Elites won’t fit Spartan hitboxes so they’ll most likely look like the hunchbacks we have in Halo 3. They’ll also most likely look really awkward doing the new Spartan abilities like thrusting and whatnot.
The only way I see Elites working is if they are restricted to certain playlists like hey did in Halo Reach.

How so? All I can see is sprint. Unless Elites can evade in mid air and hover over the ground, I’m not seeing it.

They don’t have to be exactly like the Spartans. Hell, they can even have their own game mode. We just want them back in some way, shape or form.
Will this mean we get to see Elites brofist Spartans???
I hope Spartans and Sangheili both have their separate armories, where you can change your helmet, shoulders, chest, etc.

Plus, aren’t Elites essentially the equivalent of Spartans, if not stronger than?
I hope we can have Invasion back.
I loved that gametype so, so much.
I’d love to be able to more heavily customise elites, and hopefully cut the team colours and be able to use my own personal colours. We can tell between an elite and a Spartan. Right?
