Excluding Halo Wars 2, Its been THREE YEARS since we have had a main storyline HALO game.
If they are actually trying on this game imagine how great it will be!
So many things are possible!

No point hyping up things we know nothing about. The fact that there is a longer than usual time since the last main Halo title implies nothing about the quality of the next game.
You might not be, but it kind of comes off like you’re implying they weren’t trying with their previous games. Anyway, I think you can have bad ideas even when you’re trying your best so I’m not going to assume it’s going to be better just because they’re taking longer with it.
Oh, I don’t know. I think taking longer does inspire an itty bit more confidence than knowing a game is being rushed. I think OP is being a little too optimistic but I’m with him, I’m looking forward to Halo 6.

‘Might’.

Right. H5 came out a mere 3 years after H4 and it wasn’t exactly well-received.
What I like to imagine is that the team is taking advantage of all this free feedback from the people that post regularly here. If that were taken into account when H5 was in development, it might’ve been quite different. Alas, I pray us classic fans get what we’ve been asking for, which is a classic (but reasonably modernized) Halo instead of this Call of Halo crap they try to sell.

Not sure, I didn’t like Halo 5’s direction so I’d rather they wait another year till there sure there going in the right direction since don’t want another rushed Halo game. Plus even if they announce Halo 6…it’s unlikely we’ll get the game the same year, we would still have the beta first but I’m mainly hoping we get the beta next year then have a more fleshed out Halo game for 2020.

Maybe not but it’s E3 soon so people will always overhype everything, I’m sure we all have had hopes for E3 for many games to get announced.
I liked Halo 5, there were some problems that I didn’t really care much for but just bashing the game because it didn’t “feel like Halo” just isn’t right. I hope Halo 6 does well and all I really want from it is a better story, longer and more missions, playable elites, and more customization. As well maybe bigger maps and unlimited blocks or space we can use in forge, that’s all.

There’s more to it than that. Halo 5 took out split-screen, they forced 3/4 of the game into online only, removed a lot of the customisation just so they replace it with loot box’s, I’m kind of sick of seeing loot box’s in games, sure some like to say “you don’t have to open them” but to be able to enjoy Warzone I have to, now I’m stacking up on millions because I have too many now, I’d rather just automatically earn them, have them given to me instead of having to open 100’s of box’s since it get’s tiresome opening them, in some cases I’ve spent 30 minutes doing nothing but opening up loot box’s, yet I’ve never bought a single loot box.
Also sure 1 of my reasons why I didn’t like Halo 5 is because it doesn’t play like classic Halo but there are so many other reasons that make the game frustrating to play.
I’m not trying to be rude but you have to remember its 343.

I think they will and they’ve been better about interacting with the community as well for the most part so hopefully that will help H6.
Final Fantasy 15 and Duke Nukem have been developed over 10 years and they weren’t very good.
5 felt rushed comoared to 4, but it did improve upon some aspects. Those aspects they improved i keave to u to decide.
all i want to see is a good, solid all around game.

To be fair, no Final Fantasy has ever been good.
I mean. The same could be said about Halo 5…
Nevertheless I am excited about the next FPS Title. I just am skeptical about it. I really have this fear deep down in me that it will have Battle Royale and if it does; I’m out.
I can get over Microtransactions since they (sadly) are a staple of the industry now and probably just cosementics. But Not Battle Royale.
At least one of us is excited for Halo 6. Personally I do not care anymore, for either the campaign or the multiplayer. Why would I give my hard-earned money to a company who lied to me and all my fellow Halo fans about a story that never existed? A conflict that would have easily topped all others in the franchise? Need I even mention they lied about a beloved original character who they decided to bring back and make her do stuff completely against her firmly established and concluded character because of the #GreaterGood?
Fool me once, shame on you 343. Fool me twice, shame on me.
Well there could be two possibilities to this. 1. The game has actually been worked on for 3 years and has been nearly perfected, or 2. It’ll be like sea of theives where it’s supper hyped up but there ends up being no content and broken promises. I really hope it’s the first

Honestly not sure what they improved on. The story wasn’t as good, the multiplayer was just as bad, maybe even more worse/stressful, a good chunk of Halo 5’s content is online only, to make it worse…they added loot box’s, took out popular features like split-screen. 4 was ok but 5 has me worried about if Halo 6 will be gd or not, I’m really finding it difficult to get hyped for H6 because of this.
Anyway hopefully we’ll find out more at E3 tomorrow for the future of Halo but as a fan I’m more worried than hyped, that’s the 1st time I’ve ever felt that about any possible E3 Halo game.
I try to have little to no expectations of a game that way I will not be disappointed. I learnt that from COD world at war I hyped that game so much it was a big let down when I first played it. I appreciate it more now then I did mainly because I was burnt out on COD at the time.

Sure I tried that, wasn’t either but thought try that to see if the CoD had finally got back to their roots, improved but they didn’t so wasn’t overly surprised since my expectations were quite low for them…but I still was wanting to hope they would surprise me since I liked the world war era and the zombies reminded me of Doom but the trailer was misleading. I’m just hoping 343i don’t end up going through the same problems that made CoD mostly unplayable for me.
