Many times I don’t understand 343 and what goes through head when they say “okay, that armour looks good” and “no that armour variant doesn’t work, it won’t be in the final product”… because if you look at Foehammer, Legionnaire and Seeker helmets, they’re literally the ugliest helmets to ever be in Halo, yet they these helmets with their flaming skins and emblems don’t work? What the hell!? That dragon armour skin looks awesome! Why remove it? “No, seeker looks way better” smh
Probably because people got really pissed at 343 during the beta when they had the spartans joke around and high five. Since they thought it wasn’t “serious enough” 343 probably believed that a dragon skin or fire skin would probably elicit the same kind of response.

I liked the Spartans giving High-fives. It felt they had personality

I doubt it, seeing as how they have a flaming Recruit variant in the game and a Mako variant with shark teeth. Most likely they ran out of time, although it may come in an update
Also, Legionnaire looks like a grandfather clock to me

On the money, I don’t like having a million helmets personally but I also have my favorite which a lot of other people might not like. The only issue I’ll have is if they start reskinning helmets just to increase the req pool, I.e. oh this variant has a skull on the left side and is ultra rare but this variant has a skull on the right side and is legendary and finally this one has the skull on the back of the head and is mythic. But everyone has the thing they like, the only 2 helmets I give a crap about are locus edge and warmaster but there could be and probably are people that think they’re awful.
