Back in December I quit playing Halo 5 due to a well reported but not well handled glitch that pretty much ruins the entire Arena experience.
Before all the comments start of “hurrdurr don’t quit matches”, I didn’t, there seems to be a problem with the Arena servers which leads to things like this (which is why I quit last December):
Decide to leave mid-game due to being invited by a friend
Finish that game
Randomly get banned despite having finished game
Wait until unbanned
Get banned after 2 games but for double X amount of time you were banned for first time
Get stuck in infinite loop of only being able to play 2 games until the ban wears off then getting banned again after those two games
I’m at a 48 hour ban, and I did not quit a game once today.
Quite frankly, I’m pissed off at this point and am at my wit’s end.
It may not affect everyone, 343, but I know this affects more than just me and your player base for Halo 5 is dropping fast so you need to do for once somethings that the fans want.

It’s where you’re supposed to go. You try to help some people. And the banhammer is working just fine.

Yea totally agree. I quit 2 times this month once on the 17th and once about 10 minutes ago and I got banned to 4 hours. Pretty damn rediculous I’m probably gonna put the game down for a while now myself… again

Bull$#!+ I do. I just looked at it myself I have one today and that’s it.

Looks like a few of those are custom games, which don’t count towards bans.

Simplest fix for getting banned I’ve found after loads of research and much time spent looking for a solution is are you ready for it? you sure? Here goes…
Okay, guys. Regardless of how many matches he quit… Let’s get stupid; let’s say he quit thirty in a row.
48 hour ban is unacceptable. You don’t tell a player ‘You are not allowed to play this game for two days’ for a reason like quitting games. That’s a horrible idea.
You know why? They’ll say, ‘-Yoink- this malarkey, I’m going to go play Call of Duty/Fallout 4/Gears of War/etc’ and they’re probably going to stay gone for a while because of how justifiably upset they are at a two day ban.

You had to quit a whole lot to get to a 48 hour ban. Which therefore means you have ruined the experience of a whole mess of people. If you leave at that point than all I have to say is, “So long, Farewell…”
It isn’t broken in my opinion. Tells me that its working seeing these threads all the time. I quit games all the time id say up to one a day and sometimes more then one a day and yet i dont get banned because I dont quit a certain percent of my games. If your waiting for a fix your gonna die waiting.
