So today I was playing halo and decided to change my helmet. It took me far too long to find the helmet I wanted, so an idea dawned on me. What if we could choose items and favorite them, then in the customization section if you click “Y” then it would filter to only your favorited items.
This would work for loadout, power weapons and vehicles too, so you could favorite some of those and filter them out quickly for fast req selection. I feel like this would make customization so much more user friendly, as it’s a little messed up currently. Comment your thoughts on this below!
I want things in the customization menu to be in alphabetical order more than anything, and then a separate menu for the skin. Like I choose warmaster, and it brings up all my skins for it, so I choose Tiberian. The customization menu needs a total overhaul.
I don’t really change armor/helmet, or any customization that often. Maybe emblem. But I think this is a good idea.
same with the warzone reqs, there could be a favorite loadout slot, and a favorite req slot
I completely agree. On top of how straight up clustered the “organization” of the items are, I also hate how all of the OLDER stuff you’ve unlocked is the first thing you see in the customization menu. It’s almost like 343 is trying to discourage customization. A system of favoriting items would greatly help with this.
What a great idea. Warzone especially. Such a pain to roll through 59,000 assault rifles and BR’s to get to the higher level ones.
I think it would also be beneficial to put armor base category. Eg. Have MARK V, EVA and recon be their own category in the UI then a sub menu for their variants.

Yeah it should work for all reqs it will make things so much faster

YES. Also I think that you should favorite it right when you unlock it in the Req pack, that way you can filter things out as soon as you get them if you think you will like them. Also they should organize it like they did in Reach, where you click on the base helmet, and then you get into a new folder with all the variants. (although Reach didn’t have variants it had attachments I know)

Love the idea of being able to do it straight out of a req pack
I hope they will add a way to order your armor and helmets that is not the cronological order i found them
Sorting options for rarity, newest to oldest, alphabetical, as well as an option to favorite items/armors would be amazing
