Ok, so yesterday night I was opening up gold packs and on one of my 3 packs I opened up the helmet called Wrath. I saw the helmet and before I could hover over it to equip it, the power to my neighborhood cut out because someone had crashed into a transformer. (The guy who crashed into it is ok) I also have proof that i did loose power that night. When the power came back on around 1:00 am EST I went back on halo to make sure I had the helmet and none of the things from that gold pack saved. I am really upset because I love halo and I love that helmet because of Emile in Reach. If the developers can help with this I would be greatly appreciative.

Now onto your Gold Pack issue, by the sounds of it your pack opened completely and you noticed the helmet and went to hover over it and then had a power outage? I also assume that the helmet was in the last of the three packs you opened? Did the first two packs save their items?
From time to time there are special events on where some Reach specific packs become available, so definitely keep your eye out for that! Or you may even be able to scope it out in the Xbox store on your Xbox as a purchasable digital add on.
I also took the time to check your current Halo 5 Spartan Rank. Which is SR42 I believe. Now I’m not telling you how to spend your Req points, as you earned them! Though I will offer my advice, and that is to start by opening Bronze packs to complete your common unlocks and then opening Silvers to complete your uncommon to rare unlocks. That way you’re not spending 10,000 Req points and only unlocking uncommon and rare items. You can spend 5,000 points twice on two silver packs and get four unlocks.

I tried opening a gold pack on another account and turning off the power to see if it removed what I had unlocked and the account still retained the unlocked items. Perhaps log back in and have another look?

hey UKV1, thanks for the advise on buying the bronze and silver packs to get the common unlocks out of the way. I checked to see if the banner I got from the one of the other 3 gold packs stayed and I couldn’t find it in my collection. I think maybe it is just somthing with my account. I tried signing in and out of xbox live but it didn’t work. Should I try uninstalling it?

Absolutely don’t uninstall you’ll be doing yourself an injustice. You’re welcome about the advice regarding packs!
I’d say there’s nothing really that can be done from here unfortunately just play have fun and in time you’ll definitely unlock it!
