It would be nice if 343 do this last favor

If they don’t want people boosting, then 343 should don’t make an achievement imposible to earn without boosting.
What a better way to say goodbye to Halo Reach than adding a playlist of Infection just for DLC or at least for rumble pit, maybe a filter or something to make condemned appear on Living Dead. I don’t want to make a party to get the last cheevo but this game is pushing me to do it. I even think I have a Last Man Standing medal in all the infection maps, including Anchor 9, except for Condemned

I agree. It really annoys me when we get achievements for online multiplayer which are near-impossible to get. Why make them if you’re just going to do everything you can to stop us getting them?

Your talking about the lack of DLC maps that are rotated into playlists I assume?

They don’t care if people boost, as long as everyone is playing, it is completely fine to boost the achievements.

It has been said there are no plans to return/add new playlists to Reach, including DLC ones.
As for a DLC filter, it would require a title update for the UI changes on search restrictions, which isn’t what they’re planning on doing, otherwise we would have saw a fix for the Bleedthrough bug from the first TU.

I agree with Moa. If you have to get at least 11 ppl who have all the maps and play on a regular playlist. I guarantee you the first set of maps will be DLC’s. Now regarding DLC playlist, there is no plans for bringing it back.

So I think I will boost it then, my concern about not doing it was that I read they sometimes confuse Achievement Boosting with EXP Boosting (in this case cR). I just want to get this achievement to get rid of Reach already.

Yeah boosting is a big concern for the game developers I think. So far halo is much better in terms of boosters in comparison to other games though. I hope 343 keeps it that way. The only issue is that they may be skeptical to use halo 2’s awesome ranking system because a lot of people boosted it.

Boosting isn’t okay merely if everyone is playing, everyone playing also has to be in on the boosting.

In other words, for boosting to be okay, you need to be in a full party where everyone there is wanting to boost. If you go into match making with anything less than a full party and try to boost while you have folks in the game with you who are trying to play legit, that is known as “partial party boosting” and is not allowed because the people trying to boost ruin the experience for those trying to play legit.

Other ways you cannot boost are going in with idle guest controllers - that’s a big no-no.
