Still waiting, 343. We redeemed our codes for WCT Armor and WCT Vehicle coatings a looooong time ago, and they’re not in the game. You had no issues with all these other promo coatings. Why only this one?

I just wish I would have seen this page before I payed 15 dollars for a code that gives me nothing , can we point out that the WCT emblem only has one color scheme and so does the rockstar hammer emblem , like why tho , they couldn’t at least put it in different colors ? I have the Funko pop Armor and the crown emblem it came with , at least they have like 7 different color schemes. I feel like they didn’t even try with this WCT thing , they had an extra year to do extra , I just can’t imagine how bad halo would be if it came out when it was supposed to last year .

Yup. Still waiting. Where are our WCT Coatings 343? I agree about the emblem colors. It’s stupid that you can’t just get emblems and customize the colors. I gave my friend a dragon promo coating and he wishes it was red instead of blue, but it doesn’t have any color options. I don’t care if we have to pay for name plates, and we can’t customize our own emblems, but at least let us customize that emblem colors 343, because the color palette options are ugly garbage

Looks like a 343 employee streamed their account and they have the WCT Vehicle Coating Perfect Detail, that we still don’t have. This coating exists in the game, yet 343 still hasn’t released it to people that redeemed it when we bought official merch back 2020-2021. Come on 343.

Its nice to see 3000 hrs spent for SR152 was worth it (people even spent money for the girnd to get the legendary booster pack). First screwed the Skin, then made the only good thing from 152 grind (the weapon skin) and give it to everyone for free. They Basically used Bait and switch tactic with us. So i didn’t have that much hopes left in 343 to keep there promises. So i feel ur frustration bro.

Some say its bug out and they are trying to fix it.
When i redeemed my codes it said it notify me when available.

Yup, the 343 staff has the cosmetics we are missing.
I mostly want to know why they changed our WCT Armor Coating to an AR Coating, when we have so many AR Coatings already, and they didn’t change any other promo Armor Coatings to AR Coatings, like the Funko Pop for example. Even nail polish gets an Armor Coating, but not the Jazwares action figures? It kills me man. Why would they change that for no reason?
I bet they didn’t want us to have a white Armor Coating, to sell Bleached Bone white with the ZVEZDA bundle, which I did buy, since I always wear white armor in Halo

It’s similar for the OPI armor coating, you don’t always get redeemables instantly, but rather after the content is added to the game.
The content IS in the game. We bought the merch in 2020. 343 dev streamers have the cosmetics. We still don’t. They say it’s a bug. Changing the Armor Coating to an AR Coating happened at launch. In our redeem history, it was an Armor Coating all the way from 2020 til the betas. They changed it for no reason. It’s a simple png recolored texture. They chose to put it on the AR instead. Coatings in general should be universal like Shaders are in Destiny.

WCT Armor Coating - Perfect Detail is still an AR Coating, and 343 probably will never change that back
A Season 2 announcement mentioned a possible Cross-Core system in the works, including helmets and coatings being the main focus. Maybe, MAYBE, by some miracle, or enough rioting, 343 will just do a full Destiny, and allow Cross-Coatings, so like Destiny, your Coatings would work across ALL VEHICLES, ALL WEAPONS, AND ALL ARMOR CORES, instead of buying the same color 50 times just to have an almost matching set, since 343 just REFUSES to release a full set of Coatings for all Weapons and all Vehicles
Only then would we finally have WCT Armor Coating by technicality

Im not here to start a fight but that armor set being valued at 20 USD tax really just sets me off.
Theres no way in Hell Id be paying 20 dollars for the EVA knockoff and mediocre pieces with a crusty dirty white, even if it colors the undersuit.
They WILL release a better white coating.

Hopefully. hopefully… I still won’t be satisfied until I have white and purple, my colors for nearly 20 years, but who knows how many years that will take, if ever, for 343 to finally make the coating of the colors people used to wear? The coating system is so stupid. I hate it so much.
I wish we could just take the 7 slots on a coating, and buy coatings to apply to each slot, so I could take for example Bleached Bone, which is all white except a tiny bit of cyan, and just remove the cyan with more white, or remove the white to have it all cyan, or add some Rockstar black camo to the white, just mix your own coating out of colors and textures unlocked from other coatings

Yep, it was okay for destiny to do this because it was a new franchise, but they removed colors for 5 and got major backlash for it and they decide to try it again but way worse… I just want to feel freedom in customization again, there’s not even close to enough color combos in the game to satisfy meeting even the old coloring pallette systems in 2 and forward
This keeps getting suggested by the community, wS top of reddit for a while (only saw through YT since I have a working brain) 343 is gonna keep forcing this down our throat for a while at least, and as simple as it is, they are probably never gonna let us do this.
My consensus on this entire game.

It’s still okay for Destiny to do this, because
- They have tons of shaders in a large variety
- They have insanely cool looking shaders, while Halo Infinite has dull and ugly coatings
- Shaders can be applied to individual armor pieces for much better armor customization
- Shaders can be applied across armors, vehicles, and weapons
- Shaders are never in the shop. At worst, they’re locked behind a Season Pass/Raid/Campaign DLC, but they’re earned. Halo Infinite has coatings locked behind Campaign and Battle Pass, so that’s justified, but Destiny doesn’t dare sell Shaders in the shop, especially at $20 in a bundle just for the color white for Mk VII and white for Wasp. If we’re paying money for coatings, they better work on everything, and they better look good

There was a vehicle emblem called Trivector from a Kroger’s promotion that is still not in the game.

Yes and no, you can get them for free but theyre in eververse.
These two are the most important points, they had the dignity to let you choose from pretty much hundreds, with tons to unlock that were cool early on, what halo has are abominations.
Like yeah they gave us the twitch one but the green ruins it for me, USA popsicle shader is the only polished/clean coating thats free. And treatment of the SR152 shader is pitiful.
You cant really even buy the coolest coatings to on your armor because the one really cool promo one comes with a 100 dollar headset, or scalped, and all the pro league ones have to stay on the set.

Yes it can’t buy everything, but most things are featured for bright dust eventually. I got all the Bungie Anniversary shop items for bright dust each week they added store stuff to the bright dust section. I get lots of nice coatings, emotes, outfits, and exotic skins for bright dust
