The sr152 reward, has nothing on the armor coating that stands out, for all the time putting in to obtain it, and every single Halo Championship coating you can buy for 10 bucks, looks better. It appears to be alot less shiny than the original pictures 343 provided, I’m just hoping they fix that. Maybe they’ll do the same for whatever WCT rewards you was supposed to get.

That’s the thing though, you can somewhat consider WCT Coatings to be Coatings we purchased with real money, but in the game, we were given either nothing or not what we bought. There is no “maybe they’ll fix it”, because every other promo at least actually exists. These don’t even exist to be fixed. They just gave us nothing.
I’m not surprised given the watchdog coating bait and switch thing. It’s ugly, and I want the real watchdog that we were shown, but I wear the ugly one. I wear it with pride for what nonsense I had to grind through to get it.

At least you guys got an Armor Coating. Imagine if you just got an AR Coating. Idk what 343 is scheming. We paid for nothing.
Ah yes no need to buy the campaign for the story. If it doesn’t have any armours I can play dress up with no thanks 343
I’m really disappointed with how 343 is handling this entire game. It sucks because just to feel I might be playing a complete game I have to wait for an entire year, and even then that isn’t a guarantee.

I think the gameplay is fine and that’s the most important part. There are real issues like seperate playlists for slayer, and fiesta, and the abolity to earn credits in game. I don’t care about armor customization and progression is just fine the way it is.
Maybe 2 or 3 years if I’m being realistic. Most games that keep getting delayed, or release when clearly incomplete, usually take that amount of time. MCC took years to be good, and so did Destiny 2. Apparently Cyberpunk 2077 is actually playable now, just not perfectly finished, but it’s way too late to care about it anymore. Based on the amount of content, bugs, crashing, and lack of incentive to play or even pay for anything, I’d say it should be a great game in 3 years, sadly. I finished the Battle Pass, and almost finished the Campaign, so I have borderline no reason to play for the next 6 months until Co-op, Forge, and Season 2 come out. It sucks that they’re so far away.

The game play I was expecting to be okay and I’m good with that as well, but with how empty the play list are, how we are being controlled what to play isn’t working for me.
Yeah it’s a huge issue. I had a challenge to get 25 kills in slayer. Took me 14 -Yoink!- matches to find slayer. And majority of randoms don’t even play objective, it’s not fun
Yeah, I don’t envy players trying to complete their challenges to say the least. Aren’t some of them RNG?

First off, I’m grateful to have anything at all. I, like you, just expected something actually stand outish for what was put in.
What I’m saying is dig this you cool cats and kittens,10,000 hours on average of gameplay time to get to sr152, times that by minimum wage of $7.25, means at the very least we could’ve made $72,500.00 doing some job, so by my estimate, we paid $72,500.00+ for our Watchdog coating. That being said, as I said earlier, I’m sure the WTC and Watchdog reward, will get fixed, if enough people are upset about it. It just may take a while, due to it being a new release. I know there was nothing gave to you to fix, I mean maybe they’ll fix the situation, by giving you a armor coating. Stay strong broski, think positive. This Campaign, omfg, makes my knee pulls so hard

Alright 343, you should be back from your vacation. Can us WCT promo and Zeta Sky promo users get some answers what’s going on with our coatings? We aren’t getting answers from Waypoint Support. It has been a month.

This is probably the worst reasoned argument I think I’ve ever seen.
Totally agree they should change the armor to match the original shiny version people were shown though.
I’m just using that as a reference for how long it took to get, and what could’ve been done in the mean time. If a skin in the store that’s 10 dollars, looks more rare, unique, and special. Take that skin, say you make that same minimum wage of 7.25, it’d take you 1&½ hours to earn the money to buy that skin. Then compare that to watchdog, taking 10,000 hours to earn. That’s where I’m going with it. It doesn’t need to look 9,998.50 times better than a store skin, it doesn’t even have to look good imo, but why can’t it be something unique that cannot be confused with anything else. Why can’t it be like say recon, or blue flames were to 3? Or even Achilles was to H5? None of those can be confused for a skin that has near to nothing put into obtaining.

343 made new coatings for HCS and for a nail polish promo, yet still haven’t made the coatings for actual official Halo Merch sold 2 years ago. Unbelievable lack of awareness and responsibility. 343 where are our WCT Coatings? This is absurd thay they haven’t even acknowledged it, and we just get generic bot replies from Waypoint Support tickets.

Any ideas for the WCT coatings you speak of, have probably been farmed over to the store to buy for $9.99 🤷
We already bought official licenced Halo merch, but didn’t get the items that they said they came with, yet all these other preorder bonuses and promotions had NO PROBLEMS with their in game content existing. Funko got their armor coating. Where’s my WCT armor coating? Rockstar got their Warthog coating, so where’s my WCT Warthog coating? We have the codes redeemed in our history, but nothing in the game for what we redeemed, and not a word from 343 about it.
