I was wondering if anyone else was thinking the same thing as me about Anniversary… I was playing it, and absolutely loving it, until Assault on the Control Room, where I just found the graphics to only be marginally improved, and the gameplay a little offputting. For instance the tank and ghost still drive like they’re moving on treacle and the tank takes ages to reload, doesn’t do hardly any damage and barely even aims properly. Now I do know that the gameplay had to stay EXACTLY the same as 10 years ago, but don’t you think they should’ve upgraded certain things to how we’re used to playing them nowadays? But I do love it overall, it’s my favorite yet but I just think that level was poorly done. What do you think?

I see where you are coming from here, but I respectfully disagree. The point of this remake was to leave the gameplay EXACTLY as it was 10 years ago, shortcomings and all.

When I saw that I thought they’d actually do it like the artwork :slight_smile: I duno, I just don’t think the graphics on that level are as ‘crisp’ and fresh as other levels :confused:

I haven’t gotten that far yet so I can’t put my own input in. But my friend thinks the older graphics look better and at one point thought they were actually the newer graphics. I like the newer graphics though but all in all it’s not really about the graphics it’s about watching your partners back and killing some covie. :slight_smile:
