It took me 35+ rounds to find a single Ninja Slayer game

PLEASE increase the odds for Ninja Slayer in rumble pit or even better split up the playlist as the odds for finding the game you want is incredibly low. It took me 35+ games to find a Ninja Slayer match and no that is not an exaggeration.

Why should one of the more casual and fun game types be so difficult to come across? I was so excited when these were announced but as always 343 finds some way to mess it up.

Ive yet to ever actually play it since it got released. Havent played vampireball either. Scuffed playlists

Is there a Vampireball and an Oddball variant in Rumble Pit?

I think they make playlists, challenges, etc random on purpose. Think about it, the longer it takes for you to get the matches/challenges you need, the longer you will be playing Infinite. Which means you could fill up other matches for other players and help inflate the population a tiny bit. Pretty much everything in Halo Infinite feels like it is built to be random and inconsistent for some odd reason. It must just be how 343 operates lol

yeah but it would be ridiculous to just make every gametype into its own playlist.

It would be great if the game type screen also showed the chances of a mode coming up.

I also wonder how the other players impact it. If there’s a 1/8 chance that Ninja Slayer comes up and two people in the lobby just played it…I’m not the best at math but the chances of me getting Ninja Slayer now have decreased.

I got it twice in a row this morning. I’m the opposite, I wish it was weighed less.

For me it’s usually vampireball.

It is not difficult to create a menu system with sub menus, so people can choose their preferred game type, you wouldn’t keep going to the same coffee shop if you couldn’t choose your own type of coffee, they just chose for you, and they kept choosing a coffee you didn’t like, that is Halo Infinite’s system.

I go onto Netflix and search through the menu and then into a sub menu to find the media I want, even the most complicated media rich websites allow the visitor to search through menus and sub menus, thousands of pages, videos, and articles to find what they are looking for, it’s not difficult, it is the norm now. People need to stop behaving as if Microsoft/343 is a start-up company.

yes they need like 50 menus instead of doing exactly how it was done in older Halo’s…

Even if they did it would just result in horrible matchmaking, how many people do you think would be playing Ninja Slayer regularly? I think this is another one of those threads where the OP asks for a system revolved around what they want, instead of considering the broader implications. Even if 343i did it people would just be complaining about it taking like 5 to 10 minutes finding a match or horrible ping and so forth.

If you think matchmaking is comparable to getting coffee it just highlights that you have no idea what you are talking about.

You actually believe you’re right, don’t you? as it is said “ignorance is bliss”, or sad, take your pick.

By giving players the freedom to choose what game modes they would like to play, 343 would benefit by getting real-time feedback on what game modes and maps are popular, it’s how businesses offering services are run, as a business, your goal is to offer things the majority of your customers like. From what I can gather, 343 isn’t concerned with or even care about what most players want. Now, as far as the coffee shop analogy, I could try to dumb it down, but …

so okay, you believe Halo 2, Halo 3, Reach were all unpopular then? Yeah ok.

You’ve played 10 matches of Infinite and think you know everything, Dunning-Kruger effect. I barely play Infinite anymore, but lord does this mentality drive me nuts.

It’s been a long time, but I think Halo 3 and Reach had the Veto system and it worked well. Nothing is going to satisfy everyone, but the way Halo Infinite is now, it only satisfies the few.

yeah and that’s a better system then having a really bloated menu/submenu system for every single gametype in the game, you should’ve just said that then.

Wow, the poeticism you have is just next level. Clearly no one has ever came to this conclusion before.

I’m a -Yoink!-, but an honest one, I hope you at least get something positive from what I say on here lol

I think the disconnection is thinking people are asking for an unrealistic menu system, but in actuality, for the better portion of a year people have been asking for more control over what game modes they play, and even to bring back the Veto system. There are game modes I prefer, but rarely get.

343 has stated, that it is too complicated to change the way their menu system works now, it has major limitations, and I stated it’s not that difficult to design a good menu, so who ever designed Infinite’s menu had some major scripting limitations, or they were instructed to design it this way. Now let’s see, have you heard any of these words or combination of words before??
