It took 7 years, but

I found an Easter egg in Halo 2, an Easter egg I’m pretty sure has never been found. Least, I’ve never heard of it.

The Halo 2 loading screens consist of what looks like Forerunner imagery, a series of concentric and sectioned circles turning about each other, accompanied by several character strings crossing the screen. All this time I thought they looked familiar, and it was only when revisiting Uprising recently that I realised one line, at least, is the bottom half/part of Latin characters, i.e. letters. Discovering this, I soon recognised a few letters, and several more, which strung together read DAVIDCANDLANDISTHEGREATEST.

David Candland being the UI Lead on pretty much the entire Halo series. Bam. Aren’t I good? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

This was found a while back, in fact, right with Halo 2s release.

Oh well, I still found out about it myself rather than seeing it online.

Forgot to say, good job on the find, never noticed it myself when I played Halo 2.
