Any sane person has to admit that is WAY too much to spend on a video game. I think 100$ would be pushing it. Also if anyone brings up the argument of unlocking everything with req points that’s a LOT of time. Way more than is acceptable to me.
The system should work like this- by the time you reach level 50 (SR50) you should have all weapon and vehicle certs. Let’s be honest, you earned them (I have been playing for a solid week now and maybe have 15%, and only a few rares. After that you should just be able to buy req packs with your points and be able to use any thing you have. Plain and simple.
I speak from experience in saying that playing the game for a week straight, like all day, without good weapons, against my urge to be productive, has resulted in the culmination of knowledge that I will probably not have all the weapon and vehicle certs for a year maybe if I go at it regularly (which should not and will not happen.). This is mainly because of all the other permanent unlocks other than weapon and vehicle certs.
But by all means, if you have 1000$ just lying around, or, let’s be honest, no life for the next few months streight at least, then go ahead. Do your worst and get all those certs for that ridiculous amount of money or time. I certainly won’t.
Personally I have no problem with it taking a long time to unlock everything. Due to the reason that it’s fun getting things over a longer period of time, and make up side goals. Like, get 100 000 Req points, then spend it all.
I’d be quite disappointed if you’d unlock everything after a week of playing.
If you aren’t dedicated to it then that’s your deal. Think about the people who reached inheritor in reach. Would not have been the same if they just bought it.
Do people realize you don’t have to buy reqs??? You can unlock then just with game play. Yeah it may take longer but what is the rush to get them all? Do you get some kind of medal does cortana show up for your birthday if you get them all in a certain amount of time?

You all are missing my point sorely!!! First of all I did, indeed, say that YES, YOU CAN EARN THEM THROUGH REGULAR PLAY. Second one of my points is that it should cost way less per pack, say, 50¢ or so. If that was the price point I may actually buy a few, which is saying a LOT since I do not subscribe to microtransactions.
The actual point you’re trying to get across is that you want to buy your way through the packs but you don’t have the money, so you suggest that the packs should be fifty cents to cater to you.

IT IS OPTIONAL FOR THE LAST TIME!. so “way too much” to spend on a game is not a vaild statement fully because get this YOU FOR NO REASON OTHER THEN PURE LAZYNESS HAVE TO EVER SPEND THAT MUCH -.- microtransactions and “grinding” are here to say! get used to in and shut up. thank games like destiny for this new level of console shooter grind. and cod for micro transactions galore.

No, actually. I’m saying that I am a pretty average consumer that doesen’t have more than 600$ to spend on unlocking the full game. I’m saying that if I get everything unlocked it will be by trudging through warzone, earning req points and spending them. I am also saying that I’m positive that 343i would make more money by appropriately pricing their req packs. I would buy some, most other people like me may buy some, ETC. as opposed to me and many others not touching it with a 10 foot pole because it is multiple times more expensive than it should be.

Why should people be silent about micro transactions in gaming? There is no reason to shut up and accept it as normal part of games. Its a -Yoink- practice, and as long as people don’t say anything there will never be a chance for eliminating it. People like you are making games turn out like -Yoink- now-a-days, hopping on any hype train that comes around, ready to be spoon feed what ever garbage, developers and publishers push.

you aren’t “unlocking the full game” in what shooter do you know where EVERYTHING IS UNLOCKED without some type of player progression? entitled OP is entitled.

OPTIONAL. don’t like them. don’t buy them. you crying about their existence obviously isn’t doing anything just like my saying nothing., if they are charge for something like THE STORY MODE then that is when it becomes a problem but until then 3 bucks for some items that are ONE TIME USE and a COSMETIC armor piece… that can be earned through playtime (about an hour and a half per pack) I have no issue with someone who feels comfortable enough with their wallet to buy such things, I will personally work to earn them though. you must be one of those people who hates DLC as well correct. some people simply don’t have the hours, or want to stand out earlier in a games lifespan. micro transactions are in place for those people.

You’re against three dollars, how outlandish for them to charge so little. In comparison to various other games, this is probably the most reasonably priced microtransactions shop I’ve ever seen. The general average I see for these types of things are about five to six dollars.

No, I love DLC, when its actual DLC and not cut content. Bethesda and CDprojekt Red know what real DLC is. Micro transactions make games -Yoink-. Especially with the glaring advantage you get in Warzone from buying packs. If they buy a bunch of packs they could potentially stock up loads of power weapons and vehicles such as tanks snipers and rocket launchers. They could have all that stuff ready to use every match they go into, while you play for an hour and a half and have a few of those things. I guarantee you that the people who spend the most money will consistently have better equipment in game than the average player who does not. Warzone is designed to milk people’s wallets. Otherwise they would have vehicles spawn on the damn map. -Yoink- game mechanics are -Yoink-. Just allowing it to creep into games especially multiplayer games, is a step in a very wrong direction.

Alrite, so you do have to work to get things, ok. But I feel this is way too much time/money to work for unlocking the full game. You know what? We should be entitled to certain rights when we buy games. But nowadays all too many are being taken away and you just want the developers to do what ever makes them the most money and that’s it. I don’t feel bad for you.

I am against that price because it is over valued and you know it. It is LUDACRIS to pay three dollars for something with such little value. You could burn all you get in a pack in one match and not have a chance to use any of it. To me it is not nearly worth that price. And you can’t just compare “other games” dlc. Maybe it’s a map or something- completely different than warzone req. get some numbers on titanfall’s DLC then we’ll talk.
