I mean, seriously. I know people also want drivable Phantoms and Pelicans, and Scarabs, and all that other stuff, but we’ve already been able to drive Elephants from Halo 3. There’s no figuring-out necessary for 343 if they want to implement Elephants. Whether or not they choose to include Elephants or something similar will be one of the obvious indicators of whether or not 343 listens to community feedback.
Even if we cannot Forge them, and we’re stuck with just a few one or two maps like in Halo 3, that would be such an easy way to make the fans VERY happy. I hope 343 knows what they’re doing, but also will try to do some things for the fans that have supported Halo since Combat Evolved.
Yes! I want them to come back in Halo 4! I was sad to see that they weren’t brought back for Reach, especially since we had Forge World that was so big to take advantage of them.
They were one of the factors that made H3’s Sandtrap so amazing. Add in expansive dunes, Choppers that can go off of them, a crashed Phantom, and a mysterious Forerunner temple, and it’s awesome!
> What about instead of an elephant, what about a different yet similiar vehicle called the Titan?
^ The only way I would agree to that is if it were a “Mammoth”, in other words, a heavily fortified Elephant, then again, Elephant’s are indestructible… so, that’s kind of moot.
I’d like something new. Maybe make a flying Elephant. It would be a real slow vehicle that had three different sections with doors and defensive/offensive weapons. Is that even possible?

A flying elephant is a win.
Imagine a map where the height limits extremely high. Like 40,000 KM above ground.
Then the Huge elephants have hornets and stuff and it’s a huge dogfight in the air.
Best memories of H3 was on Sandtrap with the Elephants in either assault or CTF…Bring the elephants into the centre of the map for a very tense game of CTF/Assault.

Technically we did have a Flying Elephant in H3…Hornets and Barricades…Thats all I’m sayin…

Yes, but imagine a HUGE ship able to contain,
Spawn Points
Weapons
Flying Vehicles
Spartans
Much more rooms
And it’s flyable.

Yes the controls of that, but not as fast and much bigger maybe like 1/6 of the Pillar of Autumn.

Um, wasn’t the topic about the Elephant? How did you get to a pelican with a Motel strapped to it?

It has to follow a timeline or seem possible withing the Halo universe.

Seeing as its a sequel to Halo 3, not Reach, I don’t see how this is a problem.
