as in theres no easy way to make sides of the current issue happy I saw a post saying for the ones for coop and forge to delay their purchase which runs into a problem of them being spoiled and of course the delay of the game again for just two features that they say are key (ie the game wont function without them) features which is kinda wrong yes their features but their not the kind of features that if not there the game wont function
so I dont know the best solution to this I know its not involving a delay of any kind but the ones that say its needed wont stop about it so its kinda of take the hit as it comes solution plus lets be completely honest with ourselves most players saying that coop and forge missing would hurt their expcicnes are proably gonna be in multiplayer at launch and by the time they come out they’ll forget why they were mad
Either way, there’s going to be disappointed people. There’s no winning here.
I’d say release is better because then it’s a choice to not play campaign until co-op is released (And it really is as easy as don’t look at spoilers. It’s called self control. It really works)
If the game is delayed, you are forcing people who would enjoy the finished aspects of the game to wait just because you think the game has to release with co-op/forge
why? that’s selfish.

well tough toe nails coop and forge wont be at launch and it looks like 343 isn’t budging so the only solution for people like you is to wait
reminder infiintes campaign is open world and unlike past halo games the coop we know wont work in there so 343 wants to be right so if a delay on it means they get it right im for it if your not thats fine but asking for a delay for a issue that only affects you isn’t a smart move

bingo if a delay on them means they will be better in the end im for it just try to get the folks that think that to see it

you’ll be waiting for 10 years for all features to be available at launch lol

Sometimes spoilers can come from unexpected places, without spoiler tags.
Snape kills Dumbledore was a popular one back in the day.

no im saying try telling what you said initially to others that think the game itself needs to be delayed

There’s also the problem of things like the YouTube algorithm. I like Halo and watch Halo stuff fairly consistently so I know for a fact that even though I’m going to avoid Infinite until co-op is in I’m going to have it all spoiled in thumbnails and video titles.

yeah thats a problem and one I dont think can easily be fixed cue well its YouTube after all
I don’t know why I am bothering to argue against delaying, you’re not changing your minds and I’m not changing mine.
only thing I can think of is how human nature makes us voice things we dislike over things we like.
Most people who are fine with no delay are not going to say anything because that’s the current plan, but I bet you’ll see it come up if they suddenly announce they are going to delay.

Didn’t have to wait 1o years for H3, didn’t have to wait ten years for H2, didn’t have to wait 10 years for H:R hell…didn’t even have to wait 10 yers for H5 and that had the least amount of content at launch in any halo game ever…

Because you’re afraid they’ll delay?

And a -Yoink- load of other social media sites, newsletters and DMs on whatever mass chat program you’re using.
I got a random message on discord with an invite to be taught credit card harvesting on the dark web a few months ago.

If they have to delay “aspects of the game so they get it right”
then they need to delay the whole game

I’m done, neither of us are going to change our minds. Currently, I’m on the winning side and hope it stays that way since the game is currently not being delayed. If 343i chooses to delay the game, then congratulations on being loud enough to make everyone wait until next year.

You’re right, how dare I expect a finished product
I’m a terrible person
