Call of duty gameplay.
Custom load-out, done.
Weapon drop/airdrop supply crate, done.
Unlimited sprinting/ done.
Halo 4 will be the same, what shame.
Is this world of gaming just trying to copy other famous games ?
We loved Halo 1,2,3 because of it’s great gaming gameplay.
If I wanted to play a game where I could customize my character I would play another game.
Halo has always been a game with skills for me, adding customizable load-outs or just having weapon drops instead of map control will seriously ruin the game according to me and a lot of other people.
Tell me what you guys think.
these threads just don’t go away.
do you realize that you are so far from the first person to say this it’s not even funny anymore?
just add your opinions to one of those threads…
OP doesn’t know what he’s talking about…
do your research before you talk -Yoink-.
Cut the yoink and don’t buy the game, it really is simple, but your still going to buy it arn’t you? Then stop complaining!
I did. 343 industries has no right to call this game “Halo” 4.
The only thing that will make us feel like we are playing this game is the “Spartans”

oh totally…and the br…and skill gaps…and the covenant…and the UNSC…you know what? the more i go on the more this sounds like halo…hm…
why don’t you wait until you see this stuff in action before judging?
it is like seeing a shade of red that you don’t like being applied to a canvass and saying that the painting is going to suck…even if it’s the mona lisa.
You do realize that your completely wrong? Please theres a thousand threads running around here you couldnt even bother to read the facts of the game before making a thread to bash it? Next time do more reading and watching vids instead of attempting another bash campaign, its pretty pathetic how everyone turns to COD as a means to a end. Call of duty copied halo in the beginning and both games have evolved, most people seem to welcome the new aspects and direction of halo 4 as not much has even changed from previous games. If anything there bringing it back to the competitive roots it came from, and it will be much more like the earlier Halos than Reach. So stop this nonsense, it gets old.

Coming from a guy with a 1.06 ratio, “oh just adapt”. Drop it, plus my facts are right.
I’ve been reading threads.
@Papa, the story may remain the same, but the gameplay will be ruined.
I don’t trust 343 industries.
No, it seems like Halo 4 is going to be like ALL OTHER GAMES. It’s not just CoD, you know. Hopefully these new features will be adopted in a tasteful manner, or else it would mean Halo is going mainstream…
BTW, I hate these threads. Please stop making them.

you are jumping to some major conclusions here. do you not see that?
i am not saying to have a cumbaya singalong with frank o’connor, but they have done a lot in the past week to clarify several things that your post is addressing.
we still have yet to see any of this running. you cannot make an accurate assessment of something without clear observation or empirical fact.
so my point still stands. you obviously have not kept up with what the developers have been saying for the past week, both here and on the neoGAF forums as well as their 45 minutes sparkcast. i would suggest that you, at the very least, catch up on that before making assumptions…i would recommend to withhold any assumption until gameplay footage of said issues are shown though, as that is the best and most logical action.

please don’t tell me you just judged somebody’s opinion because of their k/d. That’s just stupid, everybody has a right to say what they think of the game good k/d or bad.
Splitting the community is not helping at all
Yeah, that’s what it seems.
Call of duty gameplay. -Far from it and can you really make that claim with less then 15 seconds of footage.
Custom load-out, done. -You wont have every weapon available as you do in CoD, you only have the choice to start with specific weapons.
Weapon drop/airdrop supply crate, done. -Unlike CoD you cant call your own weapon drop. The weapon drop is designed to allow both teams to know when power weapons are available.
Unlimited sprinting/ done. - Sprint is still the same as Reach you will still have a set time your allowed to sprint for.
I know this but lets not try and explain it the hardcore fanboys would rather not hear it.

It will still change a lot no matter how bad you try to defend the game. There was no sprinting in the Halo trilogy, (Reach doesn’t count). I’m pretty sure it didn’t ruin the gameplay.
Dunno if youve gone back and played the original trilogy but even though they are absolutely amazing games, after being used to sprint, gameplay feels alot slower in the original, so i think sprint has aided the gameplay and made it more fast paced if it needs to be, besides if you dont like sprint dont sprint.

Why are you so set on trying to attack the game?
Of course Reach wasn’t part of the original trilogy…a trilogy is three games. You haven’t offered any good arguments against his points, you’ve just said “Whatever, I’m still right”.
You have no idea how this game will play, so why don’t you wait and realize that most people have opinions which differ from yours.

Of course Reach doesn’t count when you say the “Halo Trilogy”…it wasn’t part of that trilogy…omg.
And yes: things will change. But I never knew change equals CoD…
Also: reading threads =/= having exact/correct knowledge on things as all threads are highly speculative, opiniated and interprative
Lastly: K/D doesn’t have ANYTHING to do with anybodies weight of opinion on Halo. I have a 1.3-ish K/D, so you’d probably bring that up in my case as well…well guess what? High K/D’s or playing “competatively” (as if “casuals” trying to win in a game of Griffball don’t play that so called casual gametype with a competative mindset…) don’t mean you’re any more of a fan than somebody who’s been playing for 11 years, read all the books etc, has more interest in the canonical part of the story. Those people ALSO understand VERY WELL what Halo is in gameplay terms.
Oh, and most of the changes I’ve heard resemble a cross breed betweeen Halo and Battlefield, not so much CoD.
