:joy::joy::joy: seriously though. Redacted and Redacted are the biggest 343i boot lickers I’ve ever seen. These dudes think a company who have been -Yoink!- off the fans since 2012 deserve no criticism even though all 4 of their halo games have had terrible releases. You would think after 10 years they could atleast get one right but that would probably be too much to ask for

I’m a longtime fan too, and honestly to me Infinite is the worst in the franchise, not for it’s mechanics, or lack thereof, but because it’s foundation is based off lying to the players during it’s development cycle, overhyping the game, and under-delivering the final product.

Don’t get mad at people who play the game and enjoy it, they’ll turn soon enough, just go back to MCC or another game you enjoy, let Infinite rot into obscurity and irrelevance.

Feels like there is no atmosphere to the game, no heart.
Besides the obvious multiplayer errors pointed out…

Game is incomplete. No co-op, No Forge, Custom Games is glitched and missing UI.
Campaign fun yet, is cookie-cutter in open world (almost exact copy of Farcry) and rewards are lacking, like just basic red skins (with better versions in store). + no in-game rewards for beating: legendary,/collecting all skulls/100% complete/LASO runs.

Speaking of elephants… BRING THEM BACK!
… seriously… anyone remember the golden days of “Sandtrap CTF”?
With the lack of forge/file sharing-- feels like there is no community/heart.
I mean c’mon, where is the innovation? No new vehicles? Taking out the Spartan Laser, Beam Rifle…
Progress would be ‘adding’ more… IE: Warzone/Firefight, Team Action Sack… Elephants.

This feels F2P :frowning:

“long time Halo fan” claim/argument header, as if that entitles you to something. That line is about as overused as Fortunate Sun in anything Vietnam.

Every Halo thing 343 has done is basically “launch unfinished and fix it way too late”. Halo 4 had a bunch of balance issues at launch that they didn’t fix for like a year, MCC took literally 4 years to get in a half-decent state, Halo 5 took months to add even simple things like BTB or oddball. There is no reason whatsoever to think Infinite will be any different.

The first excuse people had was “it’s a beta” up until the literal day it came out, right now it’s “wait until they come back from holiday break”. What will be the next coping mechanism people have, I wonder?

I always seem to be a man down when I play BTB on sandtrap. Sure enough there’s someone just taking the elephant for a pleasant drive around the map lmao

This thread got outta control sooo fast lol guess what? I’ve been running games as I said I would and continue to do…there’s a lot to love about this game still. And honestly the issue that effects me the most is desync…again and again I could post countless videos of me being solidly behind 3ft of corner and dying…I hope that gets fixed as soon as they return from their well deserved time off…they need a sense of urgency to get things fixed for sure.

There won’t be one. The fact that people have stuck around even after the woes they’ve gone through since they took over the franchise implies people think it’ll get better. As many posts I’ve seen over the years of people claiming they’re done with 343 there’s sure still a lot of those same people sticking around to complain.

If people were really done I don’t think this forum would be filled with as much complaints that start with, “I’ve been a Halo fan since X and I’ve played through all the other garbage 343 has played and this is gone far enough” or at least something to a similar effect.

This is simply the state of the gaming industry and it is the cycle that players put themselves through because ultimately they want to play games. Specifically they want to play Halo and it never hits the mark they specifically want it to hit and so they take to the forums foaming at the mouth with rabid vigor in their hearts explaining that 343 is a bunch of losers that deserve to be attacked because a game didn’t launch precisely how each individual player wished it to be.

Is there work to be done? Yes. There always is.

Does it call for attacks, calling people out of their names, sending death threats? Never.

If there’s surely no reason to think Infinite will be any better then why do players consistently return here to complain about each release 343 goes through with? Something tells them things will be different or perhaps they want to believe it’ll be different. There are major differences between each release that were addressed especially with Infinite’s release that a lot of players had issues with going from Halo 5 to Infinite. There are a lot of things they learned from MCC that did not make its way to Infinite, specifically the progression system, that are perplexing as to why these systems weren’t almost a one to one cutover that need work, but gameplay on the other hand has changed dramatically and I’d argue for better in many ways with still room to improve.

It is up to everyone on their own to decide if they wish to keep giving 343 chances. It is unrealistic to expect 343 to address every single detail the way every single player wishes to see changed within x amount of time that typically ends up being an unrealistic goal. Change should come, but in the event that it doesn’t, instead of people starting threads with weak arguments, perhaps they should actually be done with the game or perhaps 343 like they keep claiming they were with Halo 4, MCC, and 5. But constantly attacking them and telling them “this is what they deserve” solves nothing.

If players are truly unsatisfied with the game then they have no reason to turn the game on anymore and should stop playing. It’s that simple.

You will never find a quote of me saying that they deserve no criticism. But nah, when you call out a bunch of grown men in their 30’s crying over a video game, that equates to criticism, in your head. OP’s biggest fix would be to go outside for 2 weeks, forget about the video game. Nope, these nerds need everything fixed now. Anyone calls you out on your nonsense is a bootlicker, shiller, etc. Bunch of babies lmao, get a job, go outside.

I, for one, do have a full time job and a limited amount of time to play video games (when we’re not having holidays). I’m also a long time fan of the halo franchise since my college days. So when a company 343 is actually asking me to spend what little time I have for video games on an unfinished, money grubbing, mediocre, halo knockoff, yeah I’m gonna complain. It’s BS.

Most of us do have jobs. Read my comment above. It was supposed to reply to you.

almost as if the forums are comprised of different individuals, who aren’t on the forums all day, who come here to voice criticism of the game which happens to align with the same criticisms other people have.

I’m gonna assume that the whole remark about being “on the forums all day” was a jab. If so, you’re pretty wrong about that statement, at least when it comes to myself individually. Also, it’s almost like there are others who come on the forums who disagree with said criticisms and also voice it. Oh, and they themselves agree with others that don’t agree with said criticisms…

not a jab at you. but the way you say “rinse and repeat with these forums” insinuates people go out of their way to reiterate the same posts over and over, when in reality most of them just come here to voice their own concerns which, unsurprisingly, overlap with that of others on the forums.

My mistake then, I apologize for assuming that. I can see your point to a degree. I guess I just get tired of all the negativity, even though I understand that most of those that bring up negatives about the game are doing so in good faith. Some of course do not, but that’s everywhere. Just best to chalk up my remarks to a moment of me expressing my own frustration.

cringe roast.
technically not an anime.
also, surprise sickening things always come from people that hate on anime stuff. so careful there normie.

No one is asking you to play the video game. He’ll I even stopped playing Infinite.

Money grubbing game, imagine a ftp game that offers paid cosmetics. Makes a lot of sense.
