I have not read one post where someone said less is more is a good thing. Some people are just sick of the daily whining and complaining on these forums after all of these issues have been addressed.
There’s no patience here. Just children crying because there demands aren’t being fixed right away
I am speaking in broad terms there. Seeing how things are these days. Plus people got the right to post whatever they want, surely.
My old 1SG had a saying… “The day your joes aren’t coming to you with complaints, and their problems… then they don’t trust you or you have failed them”.
Then stay off the forums? Paying customers dissatisfied with a product doesn’t equate to whiny or impatient. You need to stop settling for sub par. That is all.
I’m saying nobody on these forums will ever be able to defend the state Infinite is in. No maps, no co op campaign, no forge. Awful netcode and servers not working. However these have all been addressed and will be fixed in time.
People do got a right to do whatever they want. Just like others have a right to call them out on their nonsense
Not everyone has access to constant news flow all the time. They come to the forums, and post about it. Hell, even I post about stuff and rant here and there. That’s why I tell people about it, or send a link. Even though I know it will get fixed. I simply state they should know better, and do better. Procrastinating is 343s strong suit. That’s the biggest problem I have with them. I endured MCC… and it took 3 years. 3.
The more people bring these issues up, faster they will be fixed. Now do I think there should be some blatant braindead posting? hell no. People need to put some thought into what they say at least.
The points I gave have been public knowledge for some time. But you’re right not everyone has access to news flow 24/7. It’s why people should do research before bashing
MCC released in 2014, 1 year before Halo 5. There priorities were on their next mainline Halo game. Doesn’t excuse the fact the game was garbage on release, but it explains why they took so long (4years?) to start fixing it. Infinite is their main focus right now.
No. If the issue has already been addressed, then why bother adding more fuel to the fire. Use that energy to provide positive constructive criticism.
Welcome to the internet. You posted on a public forum and some random guy made a comment that you disagree with. You like whining clearly for the sake of whining
Yes, Guardians was their main goal – They had a dev team for MCC and only MCC. I was in regular contact with one of the dev members throughout the entire process. Either took months for a reply, or they never addressed anything until a huge load of people got together on reddit, steam and waypoint started relentless bashing. They procrastinated hella hard about it.
You know well and true, people aren’t gonna delve into countless posts to find what they are looking for. Even if they did, they still gonna post about it.
You can only give so much constructive criticism before it turns into hate. 343 is verging on that fine line. I’m not blind to what is happening on here my man.
To games that don’t work at all, and have zero functionality. No, Halo Infinite Multiplayer is not that.
You’re not talking about creative control, or the content itself. You’re talking about timetables. If a game has to be pushed out at a certain date, that is entirely on the Publisher.
No, it is not. One directly affects our lives, the other you can live without. Priorities.
Of course you can live without, doesn’t mean it isn’t comparable Scotsman. Doesn’t mean we can’t have the same mindset shoved down our gullets in our enjoyment and media.
Yes, it does. Furthermore, every single time 343i have stated that they’re going to make fixes, they have done so. So the track record between a video game developer and elected political officials is quite different.
That’s the only thing I will agree with you on. Atleast 343 does something… even if it’s small. Still doesn’t negate what I compared them to. They aren’t that much better.
Just saying, you don’t speak for me. I know exactly what I’m referring to because the content that was created was pushed out the door as is and that has affected the experience of how the game is viewed.
And what I am saying is that the people who decided to push it out the door as is are not the developers. Publishers set that time-table, and bear the blame for that. Ergo, blaming the developer for that is ridiculous.
While there’s certainly work to be done no one deserves to have their progress degraded and in some cases their life threatened because they didn’t deliver in all the ways people hoped they would.
They deserve a holiday break as much as any other working person does. Whether they will fix things remains but you haven’t even given them a chance to start work yet.
You said it’s not on the developer. The truth is, how the content is being designed/handled is 100% on the developer. Yes, there is a contract that requires them to produce their content in a timely matter, but how it’s produced when it is pushed out the door is what actually matters, not that it was pushed out the door.
I’m not talking about the content design. You, again, are talking about timetables. When the game is put out, how the game is marketed, how the game is monetized. I don’t have to “talk for you”, I can quote you saying these things. These are things that are entirely up to the Publisher. Microsoft, as the Publisher, said “The game will be out December 8th”, and that’s what was going to happen whether it was ready or not. That these technical issues are present is entirely due to them being pushed out before they’re ready, which is a decision made by the Publisher, not the people actually making it.
This is not a complicated matter. But it really seems that you’re just intent to blame 343 Industries directly, rather than recognize the why behind the issues.
