The “elephants” you’ve mentioned have been addressed, and the only reason they remain “elephants” is a lack of patience on some fan’s part.
Doing nothing but be patient isn’t being fixed my man…in what world is that a fix?
You must think I hate the game? I don’t know how that is, or your not reading in full…in the initial rant I said I’m going to continue to play…and I will but yet again…”it really is sad.”
No one said it was. But what you’re doing here is tantamount to screaming at the front desk of an autoshop that your car isn’t fixed right now. You (and many others) are being excessively impatient, when it has been stated quite clearly and repeatedly that these issues are to be directly addressed after the holiday season, which is about now.
That’s what’s really sad. The lack of patience, and the expectation of instant gratification as though these things are simple fixes, resulting in people literally harassing the developers and even blaming them for what is clearly and rationally Microsoft’s fault to bear (e.g. the store).
You did though…”the only reason they remain elephants is a lack of patience” no, they remain elephants because THEYRE STILL THERE
I also disagree…what I’m doing is tantamount to buying a new car and they still haven’t fixed it in 4 weeks…there’s actually laws pertaining to vehicles that are unlawful, since we’re using that analogy.
But hey man, stay patient I’ll keep playing halo like I have forever but it doesn’t change anything I’ve said. Have a nice day
At the end of the day most of the community can agree that gameplay is amazing among a lot of other things but we ALSO need to agree that this isn’t the ideal finished product we all would like.
We need to push 343 to strive for better, “ just okay “ isn’t ducking good enough….this is Halo not Call of Duty.
The reason it continues to fail is because Halo is being created by people that are only looking at a profit, just pushing a product out the door.
It’s interesting how some believe Halo Reach is the cause for the downfall and I 100% disagree with that knowing for a fact that it’s the higher-ups that are creating this game that don’t even play their own game. ( When the original Halo’s were being created, they were gamers that actually played and enjoyed playing their own game and playing with the base.) Yet, many want to leave that fact out that made a ( huge difference ) in how Halo was being designed, handled and how some of the key devs actually had a say in what happened with Halo while being created.
Now, it’s being created by a bunch of idiots that have conditioned so many players to believe this new model is how games should be created and that they should just accept that. It also doesn’t help knowing how many fake people there are better known as streamers that give the higher-ups that free advertisement to help sell this broken game to pay their bills.
Infinite is broken and there is not a single person that really enjoys this game that comes upon with all the BS about cost, covid, and continues to give the sob stories that tries to play the “poor little 343” doesn’t know what they are doing taking advantage of their player base, that will ever convince me otherwise.
They remain issues because they’re still there. They’re an “elephant” because you expect them to be fixed right damn now. They’re an “elephant” because you lack patience.
I just like elephants…
no I just use that analogy because it’s clearly a big deal….I mean, do you not think it is? As far as impatient, yea maybe but I’ll be playing tonight and the next day and the next day, so on and so forth, so maybe I’m not so impatient as I am unaccepting of sub par products that a franchise I grew up on and love has had every chance in the world to succeed but for some reason just cant.
Is that the same patience of 60+ years of bad politics, hoping it would get better too yeah?
You give an inch, they take a mile.
Patience is one thing, but down right incompetence and greed is another.
100% I’m glad some people get it and others? That’s fine I never intended for this post to be what it became but should have expected it I guess
Wait until you see the steam forum. You can put up the best logical argument, or opinion… and these jokers will belittle you to the ground, and leave point sticker awards as a sarcastic joke.
Fact remains, our society has been conditioned to take less for more, and the you’ll own nothing and be happy mindset.
There is no intelligence there.
There will always be issues with any game released, but to deliberately create issues that some of them will be issues throughout infinite life span is just wrong no matter what anyone says.
343 caused a lot of the issues with this game because the game was pushed out the door, meaning it was their choice to release it in the very poor state it is in.
Me and you would get along in the real world…I feel the same way about politics and just the overall “you’ll get nothing and like it!” I could go on for hours about politics but this isn’t the place for that lol
Comparatively? No, I don’t think it’s that big of a deal at all. And it will be fixed, sooner now that the holidays are over. Patience.
Absolutely incomparable.
A point of clarification: As the game was “pushed out the door”, that’s not fault on the Developer. The Publisher sets those time tables. So your aim is way off.
What are you comparing it to? Just curious…
Sure, it could be worse…it could be halo4 bad lol and it’s not. the gameplay imo is great a lot of the time…there’s also a couple other things I could touch on like the promise of 100’s of customizations yet there’s pre fabbed have to buy colors…when did you start playing halo? H2 and 3 nailed customizations…that’s the ticket if you ask me.
Show me the actual contract that said Microsoft had full creative control?
I’ll wait…
It’s totally comparable.
They tell you the same thing. They do the same thing. Then when going gets rough they give the people a piece of pie and say “see im helping, I’m not the bad guy here”.
Every facet of our lives is plagued by this nonsense. People got that wool straight up covering their eyes they can’t see the world for the corporatist dystopia we live in. It isn’t about patience. It’s about standards, responsibility, and doing the right thing. I am 100% born in the wrong time period.
I think we should all just concede to one another’s opinions I don’t like the community arguing with each other, it’s silly…I’ll be more patient. I’ve had no plans to stop playing the game…I love it just expect more from devs with such a large budget and loads of time to make it that’s all…really thought everyone could agree that the game is halfway broke currently and it’s a little unacceptable but oh well. Everybody have a good day!
