Yesterday I posted a picture saying that the file size was listed, but now Halo 5: Guardians installed itself onto my and any person’s who digitally pre-ordered Xbox as well. THE TORTURING BEGINS.
I’m curious, I haven’t pre-ordered a game through the Xbox yet, so does it let you get on the game but not do anything? Or can you not get on it at all until the release date?

You can’t even launch the game. But you’re good to go on day 1.

I pre ordered on the Microsoft store today and it installed but it’s not downloading the full game yet, just to clear that up. Sorry.

I need to be able to pre-install the game to play immediately at launch. Am I able to do that, AND get the $15 credit for purchasing on the Microsoft Store?

I recently proloaded a game and at 9pm it opened to play. I Also talked EB games and they said they’re selling at 9pm so that we get the games at the same time as the east coast.
Edit: Mine also says releasing 27th but I guess it doesn’t understand timezones? ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Seems to be down to what each studio decides, I’m assuming we’ll get official confirmation soon
