The only reason you’ve given is that it’s not here currently and adding it at any point holds no value to you.
I mean any reason you can point to that would leave people to believe implementing it would have an overall negative effect on the game.

I would agree IF there was a gender option but it was only locked to one gender, either only male or female.
There are more important things in Halo that need addressing before they cater to a certain group. This opinion is a prime example of an option/feature that would cater to a certain group.
If the game was in a better state, I don’t care about a gender option. Go for it but, for someone to say they don’t care about the game in general and just want to play as a female character for their own pleasure I don’t agree to that. You’re entitled to play the game however you want to but get real and reasonable.

This is a fact, not an opinion but there are far bigger issues with Halo that need addressing before they cater to someone who wants to select gender. Again, that’s a fact not an opinion. For someone to say they don’t care about any of the issues they just want to be a gender, that’s cool but that’s not what the game is about. Again, you can play the game however you want but the core purpose of Halo is not about selecting a gender.
A problem is still a problem. Just because there are more pressing issues doesn’t give you the right to talk down to people and tell them their issues don’t matter. You’re literally gaslighting, and for what?
Explain how this is a problem? That’s what I don’t understand. What problem is it causing? Is it causing the problem with BTB? Causing the problem with PC crashing? Causing the problem with game pass PC version not loading multiplayer? What problem is this causing that’s making the game unplayable for some people?
Preference and a problem are two different things.
Did the amount of XP we were given at launch break the game? Did the store prices break the game? Does the Mangler combo break the game?
An issue doesn’t have to be game breaking in order to be called attention to.
Those are things that were already in the game. Gender selection is not. Like I said, if there was already gender selection in the game and you couldn’t select the other gender you wanted to be then yeah, I see the problem and I would agree it needs to be fixed.

Fix the game, get it in a better state then allow this person to select gender.
