so why are we still in season one when the majority of players already have more than half the stuff?

The battle pass is now labeled as Season 2 if you drill down. Lol
Season 2 was supposed to be out by now, but it got delayed because 343 has no roadmap and no content to push. They even delayed Tac Ops for the same reason. They have no content ready for Season 3. All they have is part of Season 2, gaps filled with skips and credits, and the Iron Eagle Fracture. There’s no roadmap for any other content.
Week? They’ve been on vacation since launch.

Because 343 is clueless. Mind you this isn’t an insult to 343 higher-ups, it’s an actual fact.
There is no sense of direction this game is heading, and it clear as day that they are literally winging this entire game because of there own actions that set this game back. Players are paying full price for a game that is no where near a an actual functional complete game.
They can barely deal with what content is in this game as of now, and that’s absurd when you compare other games to infinite that has 3 times the amount of content. It’s time to find a competent developer Microsoft…

Season 2 better have the 120 levels, because this 6 months of drip feeding is unhealthy for player retention.

20 emblems (5 actual emblems divided up by armor, weapon, vehicle, nameplate)
10 coatings
15 armor pieces
15 challenge skips
15 xp boosts

We’re already on Season 7 dog, Halo 6 comes out in like a month.
I was joking that Season 2 was supposed to start now and they couldn’t stop it, which is why we got the rank reset.
The fact that it says Season 2 in my profile and S02 in the battle pass doesn’t help convince me otherwise though.
season 2 will be in may we might see new maps and that just hold on spartan.
far as I’m concerned it’s still in Beta/Early Access until further notice. It takes the sting off and it reflects the shape it’s in better.

Halo Infinite is the best shooter…in 2-3 years.
That’s the perfect time window for me to reach 152 in Halo 5. And then max level in MCC.

I largely play ranked solo and am happy to use the first season or two as practice/familiarity so I’m not too hung up on my actual rank - thus I’m not too bothered by any issues with the rank system itself.
If the game was destined to stay in this state throughout, then I’d have already dropped it.
I never thought of that. A lot of people saying the rank reset and last update changed nothing.
I wonder if it’s actually true that they didn’t know how to stop some of it from resetting and so they just pretended to push an update with a rank reset?
At this point I wouldn’t be surprised.
