So, I joined a Dominion game in progress. The catch?
I joined IN last stand for my team. I die, and we lose. (Another thing that’s been bugging me: lose, not loose.) The final score? 400 to 120. Join in progress, you have failed me…

JiP is here to stay. Weve been wanting this for years now.
JiP does have some issues (like forcing a host re-select and timing the game out), but overall I am glad to see that it is here to stay.
When I join a game starting off my daily session I may or may not get jip but if I do I just stick with it and the lobby. It is a pain but once you stay with the same lobby it is rare from then on. It was badly needed as the old system was a disgrace compared to other games, maybe they can give an option to join new games only or something also? At least if people leave my team I know I might get help later instead of me having to quit also and ruining the other teams game.
its fine but they need to tweak it to not out you in games that are almost over

That’s nothing. I had a JiP game that ended as soon as the announcer said it started. It actually put me on the winning team, as well
if the other team wins with a final stand it makes their score 400 they could have been losing until then and still got that score
Adapt.
There need to be major limits on Join in Progress.
For starters: You should be able to set your party settings to NOT Join games in Progress if you don’t want to at least. OR it should not allow you to join games that are beyond 2-3 minutes of game time.
Though I would honestly prefer that Join in Progress be a feature only available to Friends who que up in your lobby.
Same thing happened to me. As soon as I saw that we were in last stand I just left. I’m not playing a losing game.
