Accidents happen and Computer failures happen.
This happens all the time and you can’t fire a computer. More than likely what happens in a distributor has X amount of copies to ship to their relate stores. From time to time the wrong columns are populated and instead of shipping to their brick and mortar stores the copies and shipped directly to customers.
Also, I could get a copy today if you know any store owner personally but there is no reason to get the copy early for me this time around. We had Halo 2 and Halo 3 2-3 weeks early because we could just LAN it and stay offline.

Physical copies don’t have an unlock
OP, don’t leave us hanging, this isn’t Reddit. Can you play it? (obviously after install completes)
Fair enough. However I seriously doubt anyone will be able to play it. When you go from installing to actually playing, then I’ll believe it.
